  • News in the main page: [Great News – July 2022] After almost 2 years break, plugin is back to active development and support. Version 4.4 is coming soon…

Let’s see if it works now since I have the same problem.

This plugin is a scam and I can’t figure why it’s already here.

They shutted down my license of 99$ due to a negative feedback because they had a serious problem in their PayPal purchase process, but they didn’t returned me the money.

I suggest you to keep away of this scammers.

    Hey @prabhatrai,

I know this way will work, but the builtin shortlink code is something that is working fine in all other browsers as in Chrome with private tab activated, so it is a problem in Chrome and I need to bypass it, since I can’t publish a long permalink in some social networks due to the size of its length, since this length prevents me from entering more relevant information.

Thanks anyway for your help ??

    Hi @prabhatrai,

thanks for your answer! But if you are right, that link should not work in the rest of the navigators, right? And the users are clicking and accessing the post page without issues. This thing only happens with Chrome…

I did a test from a Chrome private tab and the link works perfectly, but it does not work from a fresh intallation of Chrome in normal mode (fresh = no addons installed and custom options enabled).

    The post you mentioned:

Works fine from all navigators but Chrome since WordPress does a 301 of that shortened link.

    Care about them!

A few months after my purchase experience, I found they have disabled my purchased license, but they have not returned my money.

I have written an e-mail to their support email to ask about deactivation, understanding that it has been an error and I have not received any response. It is clearly a fraud and I will put it in the hands of my lawyer in the next few hours.

@zatrix my first problem was related to the purchase itself. As EU user, I was comparing some plugins that do the same, many of them in Dollars, so I was trying to get the final price of each one in Euros.

I went to your page and started simulating the purchase of the “Unlimited Version” (69$) to get the final price with the exchange rates and the possible rates that the seller could apply. The problem is that there is a fraud there: once you start the purchase with your PayPal credentials, there is no information about the amount you are going to pay, and PayPal always show it at the top. But it is also in the second step clearly indicates “You can see a summary of your order before making the purchase” followed by a “Continue” button, that is, if you click there, it is assumed that you can review the final price and then, confirm the purchase, otherwise, they can show a price on your website and charge you another very different figure using this method. However, as soon as you press that “Continue” button there is no such order summary… they directly process the payment and there is no going back, because they do not return the money. So they have made a payment without a tacit consent of the same.

Related to the plugin itself, it’s still a fraud for a non-tech user who does not know anything about htaccess or PHP configs. You can download the plugin for free and there is no info about the size limit. You can do a backup and once you want to restore it, you will se a message like “Max filesize upload: 8MB”, followed by two links: “How to increase the maximum file upload size” or “GET UNLIMITED”. If you click in the first one, you will be linked to a page that indicates 4 ways to increase this limit: htaccess, wp-config.php, contact host provider or Use plugin. If you click in the last one, you are redirected to a landing where you can find 2 versions: Basic and Premium. Basic is for sited under 512MB and Unlimited is just that, Unlimited. So a non-technical user will probably opt for an Unlimited version, since nowhere it indicates that, despite being “unlimited”, it requires modifying the htaccess or the php-config.ini, because the limit is still set by the server. And remember, theoretically this was the 4 option to eliminate that limit. So that, in my opinion, is a hoax.

@jdembowski I’m agree. This is not the place to do a support request, sorry.

    Best.

Probably related to the 20MB max upload filesize limit when you want to restore the backup. It can be disabled buying an “Unlimited” extension that is anything except unlimited…
