Unfortunately, I think I’m going to have to find a different solution for tracking my time. I’m not sure if this error is related to the other error I’m getting about there being a SQL error and that I should check the logs that comes up every time I load a page. (I am also unable to create a project. It submits but does not save any new project.) Unfortunately, my host won’t allow me to access the SQL log to troubleshoot. (In the process of changing hosts, but until then, business must continue :-/ )

I fell in love with this theme and I have it on 4 of my sites. I was so distraught when I found it was unsupported and then WordPress broke it. All of those sites are reverted back to the old version of WP now to keep them working, and now I can update! Such a simple fix. Just 3 letters! Thank you!

I have this problem too. This plugin is very promising. I hope this gets fixed.

As evidenced by the many other posts about this very same problem, also answering that they’ve disabled plugins and tried the Storefront theme it is NOT the theme. This is a problem with the gateway and Automattic needs to own up to it and fix it instead of trying repeatedly to blame other software for conflicts that don’t exist.

I am using a clean install of WordPress, WooCommerce & the Storefront theme, and only the Stripe payment gateway and this is what the form looks like: (No fields)

I’ve tried multiple versions of the default wordpress theme (2019, 2020, 2017) and the Storefront theme. All other plugins except Woocommerce and the Stripe gateway are disabled.

A shortcode would only allow me to insert a pre-made widget into a page. I would still need to go and make the widget in the existing widget manager section of WordPress. The other issue is that the more review pages/posts I have, the number of unique widgets in the “sidebar” location of the widget manager would just become enormous, and all of them would essentially be assigned to just one page/post.

What I really need is just a way to make a unique widget that is associated with the page/post I’m writing in the same screen where I write the page/post. Besides the fact that it is cumbersome and overly complicated to manage ALL widgets from a seperate system altogether, (Meaning, the widget manager is elsewhere than the editor for the page they are associated with.) it would just be impossible to manage the content I’m trying to create that way. For example, say I review 100 hotels or destinations. That would mean I would have 100 unique widgets cluttering up the widget manager under “Sidebar” and if I needed to edit one, I’d have to sift through all of it just to find that. I would be so much easier if the page/post editor screen just gave me widget management options for that page/post right there where everything else for that page/post is managed. I was just hoping someone had thought of this already and there may be a plugin for this sort of thing.

As for Gutenberg, I’ll try it out again in the hopes that it’s improved, but when I tried it when it came out I became violent and angry and had to resolve to abandoning WordPress altogether if it were forced upon us. (I removed it via a plugin)

I am having the same problem. I couldn’t get this to work with roles, so toggled “Disable for Everyone” and it STILL doesn’t make the bar disappear.

I should clarify, I’ve never been asked for admin/password on this forum. Its always on the plugin’s own support sites.

Its just frustrating to me that this is has become such a common first response.

I am not using a customized checkout page, but I do believe we are having the same issue as

“using the order-pay endpoint to pay invoices later and the Square extension doesn’t work there because the usual form fields don’t exist on that page.”

Has this been resolved yet? Of course my subscription is up for renewal on the plugin. Sigh.

I have this same problem. The plugin was in English for a long time and then after an update everything is French and there is no settings page to specify.
