I feel for you. I too have reached out to the Authors of the woo ultimate auction pro on several occasions only to be ignored.

I would recommend going with another more popular auction plugin. I know its frustrating because you spent good money on the plugin as have I, only to be sorely let down by the unresponsive creators.

I wish we could alert new buyers with a buyer beware notice. Otherwise there will be countless victims in the future.
