I saw this but doesn’t it outline that the display of the custom field should be carried out with the att etc (code above) – and it’s the use of that in my single event format in settings that’s causing it to automatically appear on the form, isn’t that right? Is there a better way to add it to an event page if it’s present in the post?

Could it be feasible to include options in the plugin to prevent the unwanted posts from registering, by checking custom fields first?
I think as you say, lots of people will benefit from this feature and it opens up more use cases for the plugin.
For instance, if the plugin checked custom field ‘location_town’ or ‘post_title’ before registering a post, and it either does, or does not include X (user can enter their chosen X into a text box in wp admin, for example NEW YORK) – then those event and / or location posts which include NEW YORK in the post_title or location_town (you could include town / state / country etc options), will not register as posts during the import. I suppose I asked because it’s specifically for UM and based on your plugin and your code – and so since it’s such a short snippet wondered if you would notice anything at glance. Not to worry, I solved it

Hi, thanks and yes I did understand what you said in your previous message, but as I said I am not able to update the whole plugin file just yet, it will break my site. I would be grateful if you could tell me the change that fixed this fault please so that I can correct the current instance I’m working with, and it will be good to know that once we go live with the site an update all of the plugins and licenses, this will have been fixed. There is no option to do that, however it is straightforward for me to clarify for you.

I am talking about inside the admin interface in wordpress, when you add a product, you can go to the product details and there are various options dealing with inventory, product type etc. Here there is a tab with VENDOR. In this tab you can select a vendor and the product will be attributed to this vendor. Vendors names don’t always appear here.

Which capabilities are being checked for to dictate who appears in this list, that the users who are definitely vendors don’t appear here?

Is there a snippet we can use in functions.php to pull in all users with the dc_vendor user type?

Because although the vendors listed at my site show as approved vendors, although all vendor functions and capabilities seem to test just fine, the one inconvenience is that they don’t appear in this dropdown , can we add something to functions to ensure that all users with role dc_vendor appear in this dropdown? Hi, it’s not possible to add as a primary role without impacting the subs.

Is there a snippet to change the user type that this dropdown pulls in?. For instance to add a user type?
