Oh, I think maybe something else is causing the 500 internal server error, only temporary when too much traffic is on the site, but then SG Optimizer keeps showing the error to logged in users.

Because when I turn off any other random plugin, the error disappears as well.

A little while ago the author responded to me via e-mail.

He said that any of these days (likely this week, according to him), he will send the improved version (6.0) to the paying users first (by the way, I find it very cheap – 39 dollar).

So I will await patiently this week.

In my experience there is no plugin that comes even close to this one. This one is the most flexible, feature rich and good looking.

In my experience it takes 45 minutes. I added one more log from today. Hopefully you can tell whether the backup is succesful or not.

While making the backup there are some strange ‘error messages’, something along the lines of ‘trying again in 13 seonds’

(By the way, it is on a new WordPress installation without any other plugins. I tried this with multiple themes, and the problem is still there. Also, when I go to the url of a lesson, it takes me to the homepage instead of the lesson)
