Could you please clarify, I am lost now.

I tried manually installing 2.4 version and then clicking Upgrade from the WORDPRESS / PLUGINS menu.

Is this the correct approach or downgrade/upgrade should be done differently? If differently, please let me know how to it.

Is there a guide online, article info or something?

Thanks for the quick reply, but I don’t understand what steps do I need to perform. We were talking about updating the plugin, now you mentioned DB update and SQL… Confusing.

Could you please provide clear step-by-step instructions?

1. There is a button on the DB update page that gives you the SQL to manually update your database.? – I only know this https://www.fecc.ee/wp-admin/upgrade.php or what do you mean?
2. You then go and do that, and come back and tell the plugin it’s done. – How do I tell the plugin it’s done?
3. https://www.fecc.ee/wp-admin/upgrade.php – is stating that the DB is up to date.

1. How do you know that the upgrade is not working? How can I check that the upgrade is done correctly? Because in the Plugins I see that plugin is of latest version.
2. How to perform a manual upgrade – do you mean via FTP update files manually?

When I update the plugin I didn’t encounter any errors.

Caching on this WordPress seems to be managed by the hosting…

What would you recommend in order to get rid off this DB error?
