From you comment I remembered seeing on the .htaccess there were heaps of 301 redirects. I had hired a freelancer to fix the malware and webmaster crawl errors which ended up taking 2 weeks to complete and I think by the end he just wanted to end the project and get paid. As he originally said it would only take him 10 hours.

So I have deleted all of these 301’s and the website is working great. I have now learnt to fix broken links myself anyhow.

I download the plugin Broken link checker. I now realise that it wont pick up the ones you have mentioned.

How do I go about fixing those? I have looked at forums all day and cannot seem to find what I need to do. I can see the the path is incorrect but not sure where to update this?

All good I reset my plugin options and it picked up the file path. ??

I seem to be having a similar problem.

I have changed the permissions and I can see that my storage path is wrong however when i try and change this in the general settings tab it seems as though it does not change at all and the same error message with the wrong path displays.
