Hello there,
I am sorry for the delay in my response.
We have tried to replicate this issue at our end but we aren’t able to replicate the issue. We suspect that it may be due to a plugin or theme conflict.
Will it be possible for you to perform a conflict test on your site? You may need to temporarily disable all other plugins except the Email Subscribers plugin and switch to a default WordPress theme.
We recommend doing the troubleshooting using the Health Check plugin which disables all the plugins and switches the current theme to the default theme only for the current logged-in user when troubleshooting mode is enabled. It does not affect other users or site visitors. You can get the Health Check plugin from here. After enabling the troubleshooting mode in Health Check plugin, activate the Email Subscribers plugin, and check if the issue is resolved or not.
If it is resolved, then you can activate plugins one by one or switch to the current theme and check which is causing the issue.
If the issue persists with only Email Subscribers active, do let us know if this is the case. We may then need to debug it further.
Hope this helps you.
Let us know what comes out. Also, let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.
Hello there,
It might happen due to some conflicting styling.
To find the exact cause we need to check the message content on our end. Can you please share it with us?
You can get the message content from the campaign edit page. We have attached screenshot 1 and screesshot 2 for a reference.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.
Hello there,
If you were already able to send emails before and suddenly received the Could not instantiate mail function error, then please make sure you have set your sending limits according to your host’s specified limit.
You can contact your hosting provider for more details on the sending limits. For changing sending limits, you can go to menu Email Subscribers –> Settings –> Email Sending(tab) and update Maximum emails to send in an hour and Maximum emails to send at once options accordingly.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.

Hello there,
Thank you for contacting us.
We suspect it might be due to the Test list being selected in the post notification campaign. Can you please check it from Email Subscribers –> Campaigns menu? Have attached a screenshot here for a reference.
If it is the case, then you can change the list to Main list in the campaign.
To change the list you can refer to the following steps.
1. Locate the post notification campaign on the Email Subscribers –> Campaigns page and click on the Edit link.
2. On the edit campaign page, click on the Summary tab.
3. Click on Add recipients button. There you will find an option to change the list.
4. Change the list from there and save the campaign. Now, the plugin will send an email to all subscribers of Main list whenever a new post is published on the site.
Also, please make sure your contacts are subscribed to the Main list otherwise they won’t be able to receive the emails.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if the issue is still not resolved even after following the above steps or if you have any further queries related
Thank you.

Hello there,
Thank you for giving us more information on the issue.
It will surely help other users that might face a similar issue in the future.
Since the issue isn’t from the plugin’s end, I am marking this thread as resolved.
If you have any other queries, you can open a new thread from here. We will be happy to assist you further.
Thank you.
Hello there,
Thank you for providing more information related to the issue.
With that (checking the SQL used) I figured out that contact status (NULL) seems to prevent some contacts from being added.
— Yes, if a contact has NULL status, then it won’t be included in the newsletter since the plugin picks only verified contacts. NULL status for contact is a bit strange though but we need to debug it further to find the exact cause.
How can I change the status of the wrong contacts (except directly in the database)?
Or what else is necessary to change contacts status?— Currently, it isn’t possible through the plugin but if you can contact us here then we can look into the issue further and try to fix it.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.

Hello there,
The issue seems bit strange since it is not coming through open_basedir.
We suspect it might be due to due some glitch which might have happened during the last update because of which some files either didn’t copied successfully or having file permission related issue.
Reinstalling the plugin might help in this situation. Therefore can you please deactivate and delete the existing plugin and reinstall it from Plugins –> Add New menu.
Note: By default the plugin data is not deleted when the plugin is deleted but if you have Delete plugin data on uninstall option enabled then you might need to disable it before deleting the plugin.
You can find the above setting under Email Subscribers –> Settings –> General(tab).Hope this helps you. Let us know what comes out in your findings.
Thank you.
Hello there,
Thank you for contacting us.
We suspect it might be because of open_basedir configuration on your site.
To solve the issue, you might have to disable the open_basedir from your php.ini file.
Your hosting provider should be able to help you with that.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.
Hello there,
Thank you for contacting us.
The issue seems to be a bit strange since it is happening only in the case of Gmail.
To debug the issue further can you please share the related campaign’s HTML? That would be helpful in finding the cause of the issue. We have attached a screen recording on how to find the campaign’s HTML here.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
Hello there,
Thanks for sharing your queries with us.
We have checked this issue but in our testing, it seems to be working as expected.
If you need to debug the code further at your end, then you can check
ES_DB_Sending_Queue::do_insert_from_contacts_table
function since this function create the list of recipients. Also inside that function,IG_ES_Subscribers_Query
class is used to generate the required SQL query for fetching the recipients. If you want us to look into the issue ourselves, then you can contact us on our private support channel from here. While contacting us, please mention this thread URL. We will then continue our communication from there.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.

We found your use case to be useful and have added it into our feature roadmap.
At present, I don’t have an exact date estimate for this feature but will surely let you know when it gets released.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Have a great day ahead.
Hi @ytonksuket,
Thank you for contacting us.
We have attached our response to your queries below:
Why are there two forms?
— In the recent versions, we have added Drag-n-Drop form builder in the plugin. For new forms, you can use Drag-n-Drop form builder to build forms. For existing forms, you can edit them through old settings. It doesn’t have drag-n-drop interface, but you can select which fields to show or hide in the form. Can these be resolved?
— We have checked both issues at our end but couldn’t replicate them in our testing. We suspect it might be due to conflict with other plugin or theme on your site.
