you should go to your dashboard, then general settings, then uncheck the box that says automatic registration

that is a website i manage.. the picture in the “featured image” is the same as the picture inserted into each post.. browse to see yourself..

but this function of featured image does not mean you have to use the same picture for the featured one and the inserted one.. in essence, you may put a featured image even without a picture inserted into a post, and vice versa..

i am thinking that this is what you are trying to accomplish..

I also received the automatic update notice for all websites.. the dashboard should have some helpful links about this for new installs at the least.. so we may avoid the hassles bound to be discovered..

some of the themes contain “featured image” for every post / page.. this will make things easier..

try looking for a plugin which hides the title altogether..

maybe it’s just me, but i find it difficult to find my way around that website.. sure it has fantastic design, but only if you spend time thinking what to do next..
