into my post abd it did make the mage shoter from where the tag was entered but there as no next page button to go to the next page.

checked the template page.pp file and it has the following already

<?php wp_link_pages(array('before' => '<p><strong>Pages:</strong> ', 'after' => '</p>', 'next_or_number' => 'number')); ?>

but the only thing to show is a rand square box with then links to the next post not the next page.

yeah found it just by pressing everything lol…. normal way of learning. why is there the option for single colum if it stops the page from working?

tired the code and it removed all my post from homepage alltogether..

also still cant see the sticky option on posts page on 3.0.1

after many hours trying to figger out what had happened i found that if i clicked the screen option button on the post page and change to 2 coloum the left colum was there with the publish buttons and options.

Unsure why this changed since/during the upgrade or why these buttons are not available in a single coloum when the option is there.

Well did a full upload via FTP and overwriten all the files as instructed and still no difference! still no publist/post/save button or anything! same as the screen shot above!

Tried the reinstall from the admin and no joy ??

yep deactivated all plugins (only had 3.. sitemaps.. contact and WP2G) also switching the twentyten made no difference.

cant see any where that the sticky post or sticky is an option in the post editor or creator ??? hum

can you add code directly into a posts text box?? not quite figgered out wordpress full yet.

as i guess when you create a page it just adds ifo to the database then creates the page from a template filled with the database information?

is the stickyposts a plugin?

hehe voodoo yeah i used the CSS and the code from twentyten pasted into the right section of the template and then tweeked to suit.

all sorted….

now have f8-lite runnign with menus from menus with dropdowns ??

cheers thanks i was working through that as you were typing and figgered it out. simple enought TBH just need to now copy/create some CSS to allow for dropdowns.

Can i get the code to insert into the correct section on my site template please so i can use the menus option
