    (@kjfrank)

    seeing only these two errors left I went in to sharethis.php again and changed line 995
    from

    <iframe id="loginFrame" width="644px" height="398px" frameborder="0" src="https://www.sharethis.com/external-login?pluginType=newPlugins"></iframe>

    to

    <iframe id="loginFrame" width="644px" height="398px" frameborder="0" src="https://www.sharethis.com/external-login?pluginType=newPlugins"></iframe>

    now I get a lot more of the access blocked errors.

    any suggestions/comments?

    if I go in manually and change all of the https://w.sharethis in sharethis.php from lines 690 through 696 to “https://&#8221; for the two google scripts and “https://ws.sharethis&#8221;
    for the rest including the buttons .css call I get a bit further but then I get two new errors:

    Correct me if I’m wrong but it seems as though using https such
    https://websitename/&#8221; will break the plugin(at least on the admin pages) since there are many hardcoded urls in sharethis.php that use http. here are the errors I get in the javascript console when when I go to the sharethis settings page in my wordpress admin section of https://eric.bravick.name/wp-admin

    Is anyone else having this issue. I cannot get past the first settings page.

    I have Version 7.0.14 installed. Is that the most recent version? If so I have deactivated and reactivated multiple times with no change to the settings page. Is still unusable. If you have since made a newer version available please let me know where I can get it.

    In wordpress settings for the “WP LinkedIn” when I click “Regenerate linkedIn access token” I am taken to a LinkedIn authorize page. I then click “allow access”. After a few seconds it returns me to the “Settings” page with the error message “”An error has occured while updating the access token, please try again.
    Error message: 110: Connection timed out.

    Thanks for the hanging in there with me while I got to the bottom of this ?? Your help was invaluable!

    ClaytonJames… I believe you are correct! after much searching I found this in my functions.php file:

    function remove_revisions_metabox() {
        remove_meta_box('revisionsdiv', 'post', 'normal');
        remove_meta_box('revisionsdiv', 'page', 'normal');
    }

    I do not understand why an author would do this??? Since if you want to control the revisions you can just edit your wp-config.php. Can you think of any situation where commenting this line out could do harm?

    I am using the “Modulo” theme it can be found on https://themeforest.net/item/modulo-responsive-premium-theme/full_screen_preview/795863theme forest. What would be the purpose of overriding post revisions.. since they only show up in the admin interface? Thanks again for helping me try to sort this out.

    (@kjfrank)

    did a search on my entire install and it does not appear that ‘WP_POST_REVISIONS’ is being set to false. Is there any place in the code that I could place an echo statement (or anything else for that matter) to try and determine why the revisions checkbox is not showing up?

    Thread Starter kjfrank

    (@kjfrank)

    ClaytonJames, good guess if I change the theme to one of the default themes, the revisions checkbox does reappear…now the task of figuring out what in my current theme is causing it not to show. If you have any suggestions on the best approach to going about pinpointing the issue I am all ears. Thanks again

    I haven’t run anything like that and in order to test it I have changed the post and saved it a number of times but still no checkbox ??

    I see this ticket is marked as resolved but in my previous post, I sent you code in which the buttons are not showing for a post that contains an image(as you requested). I would still like to know if this issue is being worked on. Thank you.

    Here is a simple post with one image that is not recognized.

    As far as the min-height attribute change, how long until wordpress recognizes the new version and lets me know there is a new version so I can update it?

    Thread Starter kjfrank

    (@kjfrank)

    Thank you for the clarification… it does show up if I have a featured image assigned to the post., but not when I code an image “into” the post.
    Is that the correct behavior?

    Also I might suggest that in your “really-simple-facebook-twitter-share-buttons.php” you change the following line(line 244 I think) of code from:

    $out .= '<div style="height:'.$height.'px;" class="really_simple_share robots-nocontent snap_nopreview">';

    to

    $out .= '<div style="min-height:'.$height.'px;" class="really_simple_share robots-nocontent snap_nopreview">';

    Changing the “height” to “min-height” works much better in responsive designs and It doesn’t appear to break anything. Let me know if you know of any issues with doing this. If not perhaps you could include it in your next update. then I can stop making the change manually each time I install updates to your plugin. Thank you again.
