I was thinking about that, too, because of not being served cached files when logged in, and tried clearing the old cache (many times, a few different ways), but it didn’t work for me. The development version the developer referred me to above did work for me.

Ok, I turned the debug on (that was easier than making an error log!) and get this debug message on my home page: “Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/95/7493995/html/(I removed this site-related word)/wp-includes/plugin.php:853) in /home/content/95/7493995/html/(I removed this site-related word)/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase2.php on line 60” But again, this is with the development files, and the site works fine. Let me know if you want me to switch to non-development version 1.4.1 and look at the error messages.(I might not have time to do it until tomorrow.)

I replaced the server files with the development files and it works now (thank you!). I’m embarrassed to say I don’t know if I have a php error log and if so, where it is (again, I’m not a developer!), so I tried to follow some directions to set up one for the wp-config.php to write to, but I don’t think it’s working. So I don’t know if there were php errors or not. But again, your development files do work for this site.

Same problem. Going to 1.4.1 from 1.4.0, I can see pages from backend but frontend is not visible to anyone. Going back to 1.4.0 fixes the problem. I don’t know enough about disabling 304 header to know if it fixes the problem (I’m not a developer). This site is under construction, not in use yet. Here’s a link to the Greek-to-me debug log, which I’d like to remove from this post after you’ve seen it. I did go back to 1.4.0 on the site. (I’ll let someone else try the development version.)

So either PhilipBarrington gave you admin panel access and you’ve found and fixed the problem (if so, thank you very much Digonto Ahsan, and you too, PB!), or else the problem, at least in my case, was something specific to my work computer, because on my home computer, I am able to save the settings with no problem. (I did clear the cache on my work computer, close/re-open the browser, etc., with no luck.)

Now I’m just having a little trouble getting the bullet pager to show up. I’ll work at it a bit more, and start a new thread if I can’t get that working.

I have the same problem – I cannot save my settings. No indication that a save is happening, when I look at the web page the settings are not in effect, when I go back into the settings they are not saved.

I tried saving section by section, but they still don’t save. The advanced post slider works, it’s just that when I change the settings, they don’t save. They did save in the 1.X versions.

It looks like a couple more people are having similar problems after 3.9 update.

Same problem here. When you try and move to the next picture, it jumps back to a different picture. It does this on mobile with swiping, too. It worked beautifully before the update, and I was hoping to keep this plugin (and make a donation!) because it’s just what I wanted, but it needs fixing after the WP 3.9 update. Any fixes would be appreciated!
