In reply to: [BuddyPress Links] Plugin caused a conflict with iThemes BackupBuddyOH! Well that would explain it then, lol… I saw this marked resolved so I went back through and tested etc. (C’mon you mean you can’t just drop everything and do what I need and give it to me yesterday? hehehe. I am just kidding!)
I will be watching for the new release then! Thanks for your work!

In reply to: [Compfight] [Plugin: Compfight] Nice work! But…How about a tutorial with how to make this happen. I cannot seem to find what I need to put the attribution part with the image anywhere.
I see mention of shortcode… where do I find the shortcode.
Obviously this needs to be added to your FAQ here. I love the idea of this plugin but it is not working for me. It takes me long enough to write my posts but this is taking just about as long to try to use than not having it at all.
Getting very frustrated and about to give up – would rather it just be explained if the features exist.

In reply to: [BuddyPress Links] Plugin caused a conflict with iThemes BackupBuddyI am still getting the error. Does not matter if I activate the Links Plugin in the Network Activate or the Individual Sub Site Plugin Activate. I still get the error. Bummer!
Disregard… (operator error) My bad. I did not realize it was customizable from page to page and had only set the order in one area and not for the posts.
I was able see and to drag and drop the SEO custom columns now however, after saving they did not move and are still stuck in the first positions when I view the all posts page in the admin area.
In addition, when I choose them not to show, they still do.
Am I missing something simple? I am using the Yoost SEO (WordPress SEO)
Any update on this? Seems like an issue that a lot are dealing with only all in different threads.
Great! Glad that you found a resolution. Ultimately, that is what matters.
Whenever you have a sudden issue with a WP site, chances are it is some plugin conflict somewhere. Always start by deactivating all your plugins and then turn them on one at a time to see if there is a conflict. In this case we do know that the Redirection Plugin has caused an issue – congrats on identifying that.
This bug has been occurring since the release of WP 3.0. It is a common issue when and if the Redirection Plugin is installed and activated and you have not set URL Monitoring within the Redirection Plugin’s options page. This particular setting must be configured manually to “Don’t Monitor” regarding the post and pages URL’s to avoid breaking your site.
Here is a quick (less than 5 minute) video tutorial that may help: Don’t Let Redirection Plugin Break Your Site
Hope it helps you. Let me know if you need any other help.

In reply to: [Plugin: Contact Form 7] Problem with a lot of plugins in the 2.0.7 versionI am also having some strange happenings regarding the Contact form 7 and I am bummed because it is my favorite form plugin. I have many forms on my site. Strangely some will work. There seems to be some correlation/conflict between having a form in a post and the category archive. Here is what happens.
Sometimes when I add a new post that has a form in it, it seems to combine with other posts and headings. So if I am supposed to have 6 posts in category A, in the admin area everything appears fine but on the front end it displays Title of article 6 with content and form of article 5. If you click on the title it goes to the permalink for what the title is but sometimes will not show any content or form. WHen I remove the shortcode for the form, everything works fine (except that I nee another form displayed and cannot isert it)
Anyone have any ideas? I have tried deleteing and recreating bothe the srticle post and the forms and all combinations of such that I could think of. I even changed all the short code within the form being sure that I did not re-use ANY tags from other forms.
Someone please help.

In reply to: [Plugin: WPaudio MP3 Player] Bugs and suggestionsStrugling with this plugin and feeling bummed that I cannot get it to work properly.
On one site I get null-null as the name in some lines. Usually after the song starts to play. On the same site the song may also stop playing and display null-null (these are using the [audio] tags).
More recently is another site where I cannot keep the wpaudio posts on separate lines. As soon as I publish, they jump to one line and only the first one shows up. I may have found a way to “trick” WP, but the jury is still out on that for now. On this same site I also end up with missing players. And there does not seem to be any pattern to which entry will be missing. I even tried adding 3 of the same code, 2 of the 3 showed up .
All of my header and footer info is where it needs to be. I would love to use this but it is just not working for me and it cannot possibly be as hard as it seems to be for me. I am hoping for “operator error”, as in me.

In reply to: Amazon aStoresGo into your WP dashboard and select widgets. There you can move and/or modify anything in the sidebars. Drag and drop from the main area to the side bar. To take it out of the sidebar, open the widget and select remove (it puts it into the main area). Make sure you save the setting at the bottom of the side bar column or your new arrangement will be lost.
Not sure if this is what you were looking for, but hope it helps.
