In reply to: [Simple Share Buttons Adder] PHP 8 supportHi @sharethis
Can’t exactly remember what error screen we were seeing, but i think it was a WP error screen, with the above message displayed.
This was causing issues for users on a live website so we’ve disabled the plugin to fix site access.
If you could let us know once an update is pushed we can re-review
Thanks,
KurtForum: Plugins

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] PHP Error when using Version 5.14.0.2Hi Allen,
Thanks for the response, Yes sorry didn’t realise it was specifically the Community Events plugin for this!
I’ve just created a support ticket via our Account at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/
So perhaps this thread isn’t required so much anymore
Thanks
Hi Bruce,
I downloaded the latest Pro version and tested this locally and it seems to have resolved the issue.
It seems we weren’t told within the admin area that the plugin had any available updates due to the new Pro version folder being named slightly differently!
Thanks for the help
KurtHi Bruce
See my screencast link here:
So basically when the plugin is activated you cannot access the “More Options” dropdown when editing a form field. Video shows the process first when the plugin is deactivated. I then activate the plugin and you can see the click to launch the dropdown no longer works.
Formidable Support have reached back saying they believe this is going to have to be fixed at your end rather than updates to the Formidable Plugin.
Thanks,
KurtHi
We have this same problem on one of our websites as well.
Wondering if this is since we updated to using version 2.3.1 last week.
Hi @kenil802
We’re using PHP version 7.2.
Wordpress Version 5.6
Woocommerce Version 4.9.1
Plugin version 5.6.2Surely the fact 2 other users have mentioned they are tracking this same issue means it’s likely there’s errors somewhere within the plugin?
Could it be a problem alongside using nginx?
Like i said previously the errors seem to be intermittent weirdly. I just did another test and it seems to be working fine at the mo. Are you using any kind of external sources which could have gone through some downtime?
We’ve had issues on 3 occasions now and if the plugin continues to have regular problems we may have to look at alternatives as the client is fed up of continued problems.
Thanks
See an image of the error screen we’re given here:
This is when we click the normal “Print Invoice” button in the Edit Order Screen
It seems to be very tempermental, I actually tested it this morning and it worked without any issue.
But this is now the third time we’ve had the issue and are losing patience with the plugin repeatedly breaking.
I attempting removing the plugin entirely before reinstalling but when we try to reactivate the plugin we get the below error:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘ShortPixel\Model\EnvironmentModel’ not found in /mnt/www/ragdalehall.co.uk/www/wp-content/plugins/shortpixel-image-optimiser/shortpixel-plugin.php:123 Stack trace: #0 /mnt/www/ragdalehall.co.uk/www/wp-content/plugins/shortpixel-image-optimiser/shortpixel-plugin.php(391): ShortPixel\ShortPixelPlugin->env() #1 /mnt/www/ragdalehall.co.uk/www/wp-content/plugins/shortpixel-image-optimiser/shortpixel-plugin.php(360): ShortPixel\ShortPixelPlugin::deactivatePlugin() #2 /mnt/www/ragdalehall.co.uk/www/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(287): ShortPixel\ShortPixelPlugin::activatePlugin(”) #3 /mnt/www/ragdalehall.co.uk/www/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(311): WP_Hook->apply_filters(”, Array) #4 /mnt/www/ragdalehall.co.uk/www/wp-includes/plugin.php(478): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #5 /mnt/www/ragdalehall.co.uk/www/wp-admin/plugins.php(179): do_action(‘activate_shortp…’) #6 {main} thrown in /mnt/www/ragdalehall.co.uk/www/wp-content/plugins/shortpixel-image-optimiser/shortpixel-plugin.php on line 123
Hi Matthew,
We already have the Formidable API and Form Action Automation add-ons on the site but we do not have the Table View to CSV add-on yet so it looks like we’ll be purchasing an elite license
How complex is the setup? We’re a development agency so we’ll be the ones handling the build for this.
If i submit a help desk ticket will they supply more details before we purchase the license? We don’t want to purchase it and then find out it’s not quite suitable for our system.
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP Cerber Security, Anti-spam & Malware Scan] Malicious requests deniedAnother example if required; this time from a building at the University of Stafford.
14th March 2020, 1:30 pm https://quadram.ac.uk/UKfoodcomposition/wp-content/themes/quadramfoodbanks/favicon.ico
GET HTTP 404 Not Found 1252 ms DetailsIP blocked Multiple suspicious requests

Again, they are seemingly blocked just because of doing a site search?
I have noticed the favicon.ico URL seems to occur quite a lot within these errors. Is it possible the 404 on the favicon are causing an issue?

In reply to: [WP Cerber Security, Anti-spam & Malware Scan] Malicious requests deniedSo we keep getting legitimate users on the website blocked for some reason.
The site is accessible by many different university campuses so a lot of these blocked users are trying to use the website for various resources fro work and need to be able to access the site. But it seems after the first few requests, the IP address of each of these users keeps getting blocked.
Reviewing the logs it even seems users get blocked for just using the site legitimately.
E.g.
12th March 2020, 7:24 pm https://quadram.ac.uk/UKfoodcomposition/wp-content/themes/quadramfoodbanks/favicon.ico
GET HTTP 404 Not Found 280 msIP blocked Multiple suspicious requests

User agentMozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_3) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/13.0.5 Safari/605.1.15
So it looks like the above user was just trying to use the search form and got blocked?
Another example can be seen below:
15th March 2020, 10:34 pm https://quadram.ac.uk/UKfoodcomposition/wp-content/themes/quadramfoodbanks/favicon.ico
GET HTTP 404 Not Found 638 ms DetailsIP blocked Multiple suspicious requests

User agentMozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/13.0.5 Safari/605.1.15
This user seems to have gotten blocked for just navigating to page 130 of this URL: https://quadram.ac.uk/UKfoodcomposition/food-list/
Can you please explain to me why it just seems to randomly block users?
