One more question: Is it possible to run Sandbox transactions without signing up with Sony Payment Services?
Edit: I found the Pay Easy bank list: https://www.sonypaymentservices.jp/consider/bank/payeasy/banklist/

In reply to: [Polylang Theme Strings] register_uninstall_hook was called incorrectlySame error here. I used wp-rollback to rollback to 3.5. When debug s enabled this error causes a error 500 due to headers already sent. Should have not slipped through QA…

In reply to: [Super Progressive Web Apps] Possible to submit to appstore via PWABuilder?Thanks Jose! That’s great! I was wondering, a client of mine is considering creating a PWA, but he is concerned about the persistency of login states. Do you happen to have any experience with that regarding WordPress PWAs? Is it possible to authenticate a device and safe it’s state when the app is accessed as a PWA, but handle regular web users different, or would these cookies settings be the same for all users of the site then? I mean I’m sure I could figure out some custom solution to handle this, but I wonder if there is a sort of best practice for this usecase with PWA’s?

In reply to: [Life Is Good] Mobile Menu Not WorkingAh, yes! The footer holds some of the Javascript. By removing it, you removed the functionality to show and hide the menu.
I am a developer with Codeable.io. If you need some stuff customized the right way. Feel free to hire me!

In reply to: [Life Is Good] Logo, size of text and slider pictures as links?Hi Rebecca,
Thank you for using the theme. I am afraid these changes are currently not possible without touching the code ??
First what you need to do is create a child theme:
https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Child_ThemesIn order to change the font size, you have to add the following to your child theme style.css:
body { font-size: 2.8 rem; }
You can change the font size by changing the value 2.8 to another value.
In order to add the logo you need to copy the header.php file of the theme, to the child theme. Then add the logo via code :-/
The slider can’t be linked at the moment I’m afraid. Sorry for not having an easier solution for these things available ??

In reply to: [Life Is Good] NiceHi Darin,
The reason why you see the issue with installing the theme is because you are trying to install the Theme package. You will first need to unpack the main package. In there you will find the theme zip, the child theme zip and documentation. The Documentation will exactly explain how to install the theme (basically how you’ve done it, but with the right zip file).The Premium version does not ship with extended features but comes with a full documentation, child theme, demo content and support. If you are unhappy with your purchase I am also happy to offer you a full refund.
In order to change the font sizes you will need to do adjustments to the CSS, which is best done via JetPacks custom style feature, or by installing the child theme.
The Menu uses the following CSS attributes:
.nav-menu li a {
font-size: xxxrem;
}And the body text can be altered using the body CSS selector:
body {
font-size: xxxrem;
}Best,

In reply to: [Life Is Good] child theme issue (Life Is Good)Hi Gypsyjourneys,
Glad that you figure it out! I have a premium version of this theme available which includes a full documentation and premade child theme. More features hopefully soon. I sell it over at Creative Market for just $9 (https://creativemarket.com/kLOsk/87921-Life-Is-Good-WordPress-Blog-Theme). Let me know if you have further issues and I’m glad to help, also with the free version ??Hi,
Like answered in the mail, there is an integrated slider, which automatically takes the pictures added as a gallery to the post and displays them above the content and on the front pages. Have a look at the demo page.
Best,
DanielActually I hate subscriptions haha, thus I wouldn’t go with subscriptions ?? But in the long term I think it’s the better deal for the developer and this is why so many do it these days. Also by having a subscription based service you bind your customers more, than with a one off purchase, and isn’t that what all business are evaluated by these days ??
The pro version would include the 1-1 support, even through the WP forum here. For the non-pro users, I will still provide support if there are bugs but I wouldn’t debug the whole thing for them if they are not providing logs or any help (which is often the case :p).
Ye, I think that’s how most do it these days. I am not a fan of subscription services, but they only make sense for ongoing support. It seems tho, that the traditional model (you pay for the software and get 6 months of support) is slowly dying.
The features would be to support all the methods so that they work well depending on the options (options usually depends on which methods we are using, now they are just all included, quite a mess).
Yes, that’s what I mean. The whole method thing is dying a little bit more every day anyways, with legacy users starting to switch to CSS3/HTML5 capable browsers. So hopefully the need for support will also decline here.
What are you using as a method and options right now?
I’m using Picturefill or Retina.js. To be honest i would be surprised if anyone is using anything else since most (including me) probably just trust your recommendation… ??
Thanks for the Pro offer. Feel free to invite me for a beta when it’s ready and I’m happy to report some bugs ??Peace from Tokyo, we were blessed with an amazing sunset just now!
Yea, weather these days is fine again! Tho, Vongfong or what the Typhoon is called is near ??
