    Hi Andreas,

    thanks for your suggestion. We already deactivated all plugins that are not necessary. But unfortunately this is a productive site, so we can′t just switch template and shut down all plugins ??

    I would love to try it on a staging site, but as the error happens only from time to time (all tests we made ourselves never brought up the problem), this would not help either ??

    Kind Regards,
    Christoph

    Hallo @masdemas ,

    was genau in dem verlinkten Thread hat dein Problem gel?st?
    Ich habe n?mlich weiterhin das gleiche Problem. Aber kein Divi-Theme ??
    Leider passiert das bei uns nur unregelm?ssig – wir k?nnen nicht genau nachvollziehen in welchem Fall es klappt und in welchem nicht…

    Ich hab mir jetzt mal noch die Logs angeschaut. Ich bekomme hier einige Fehler angezeigt. Besonders dieser hier l?sst sich wohl auf das Problem mappen:

    ERROR Impossible to update the order, payment id is not valid.

    und auch:

    2021-09-09T13:05:16+00:00 ERROR Got Http response code 404 when accessing https://api.paypal.com/v1/payments/payment/PAYID-xxx-rausgel?scht. {"name":"INVALID_RESOURCE_ID","message":"The requested resource ID was not found","information_link":"https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/payments/#errors","debug_id":"6cf0338cae332"}
    2021-09-09T13:05:16+00:00 ERROR Validate Payment ID: PAYID-xxx-rausgel?scht: Failed{"name":"INVALID_RESOURCE_ID","message":"The requested resource ID was not

    Wir haben das Problem auch – allerdings nur in sehr begrenztem Umfang und nicht überall. Ich kann es beispielsweise selbst nicht reproduzieren, aber andere Kunden haben das Problem – vor allem auf Mobilger?ten.

    WP und alle Plugins auf aktuellem stand. Wir nutzen

      kein

    Divi.

    Dadurch dass ich es nicht reproduzieren kann, kann ich auch keine Fehlersuche betreiben…

    Hi Cristina,

    I was able to solve the problem. In my case, my site was not live yet and therefore protected by a password plugin, that made the frontend unavailable for most users.
    Somehow, Packlink needed this plugin to be inactive to work properly.

    So, do you maybe have something that blocks access to your site (Password, Maintenance mode, etc.)? Then that may be the problem.

    Best,
    Christoph

    @bet: I guess I did uninstall it ?? Will reinstall the 2016 theme again I guess ??
    Wasn’t able to test everything out yet.

    Okay, I tested that…
    Without the plugins I can create the site and access the site as well as the dashboard.
    Site is completely white… but as there is no activated theme etc. that might be possible.
    Site is not shown in the network dashboard… Going to try a few things to get the site running… Wish me luck ??

    @bet: thats what I mentioned earlier in this thread: for the other sites in the network I use a Cloner-Plugin. Creating new Sites with that tool works fine, but it only clones Sites. This time I need a new/clean Site, so I’m not using Cloner.
    But I’m going to deactivate all plugins (including the cloner) and try to create the Site again. Maybe with more luck this time ??

    @toscho: that is luckily not the problem, as I’m the hoster myself (root server, no restrictions in MySQL ;)).

    Hi bugke,

    in WordPress Settings –> General are no fields for WordPress Address and SiteURL.
    As far as I’m informed these fields are only there when using single-Site, not with MultiSite/Wordpress Network Sites as the URLs are managed over the “Websites” tab in the Network Dashboard.

    @all: if it is of any interrest, here is the config part for Multisite in my config.php

    define(‘WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE’, true);
    define(‘MULTISITE’, true);
    define(‘SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL’, true);
    define(‘DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE’, ‘matthaeus-augsburg.de’);

    Hi Bet,

    thanks for your Feedback.
    Absolutely: the Multisite already exist and I already created other subsites. But I have to add here, that I needed just exact clones until now, so I used the Plugin “Cloner” to clone the sites. That always worked perfect.

    This time I need a clean new site. And of course I entered somethin in the URL box ?? I also tried it with entering the http/https in the field, that led to an – expected – error, that the URL is wrong.
    Without http/https – as it should be – the new site gets created but I get the errors I stated in the first post.

    Interrestingly, the site does not show in the menu at all. So something is going wrong at the creation somewhere ;).

    I uploaded a few screenshots for clarification (attention: screenshots in German, as I use WP in German ;).

    creation of new site
    Error calling the new Site
    Error trying to call the Dashboard of the new Site
    And the new Site is not visible in the menu

    Thanks in advance for any ideas ??

    Noone has ideas?
    Tried some other things:
    – checked permalinks… they’re on standard
    – checked URL with and without www
    – checked privacy setting
    – updatet to 2.9.1 — noting

    Me again… I googled and found quite a lot of ppl, who are facing the same problem with no solution. I tried one thing yet: rss-feed-fix plugin to find blanks in the files, which shouldn’t be there. The plugin fixed that… but still no working feed..

    :/
