The issue only happens when the country is not listed in the Selling countries of the Woocommerce store. So in your test case you are selling only to Hungary, India and the U.K.. In this case, If I visit from Greece for example, and proceed to checkout, the page should reload indefinitely. Your demo page does not have the checkout functionality so I cannot test this fairly and accurately. This is exactly what happens to us.

If then I decide to list Greece as one of the Woocommerce selling countries, the problem disappears. Alternatively, when I deactivate your plugin everything gets back to normal and the reloading does not happen. Please check the video I attached earlier on. I believe it clarifies the situation.

I would very much appreciate your help in getting this resolved.

When I deactivate the Price Based on Country for WooCommerce everything gets back to normal. Did you watch the previously attached video? Wasn’t that helpful?

Ideally, I would have liked to delete my previous post and re-post a new one since I came to realize that my initial post will not help me get to my final destination. On this basis, please ignore my initial question and allow me to rephrase and explain the whole thing from scratch.

I am using Polylang Pro. I have currently installed 6 languages (en-us, gr-GR, en-SG, ja_JP, ko_KR, zh_SG) to target audiences in all corresponding regions. The exact setup can be found in here.

Initially, I had chosen the option not to hide the URL language information on the Front Page, Browser Language Detection has always been deactivated. On this basis, the users were redirected to /en.

The problem started when I realized that users from Singapore are seeing mixed up results and they are currently driven to /en instead of the more appropriate localized content served by the /sg. After investigation, I realized that the same thing happens in google.gr, but from every other destination as well. Please see attached link for an example. Same happens from Singapore, although from Singapore the initial front page were driving users directly to /en, which is even worse.

Initially, I tried to force a redirect by using Cloudflare Workers. The redirect was not working (although the javascript code – also tested locally) was 100% correct – until I chose to hide the option “Hide URL language information for default language”, which actually forced internally a redirect to /en. This however generated another issue my Language Switching Menu – not working as expected.

Then, I came to realize that the best way to direct the user to the right version is using the HREFlang attribute to properly display the desired page in their search engine results. Otherwise, it seems like hiding the problem under the table. Of course, I rested this to Polylang but somehow I’ve got it wrong. It is clear to me now that there was and may still is a problem with the hreflang attributes/return tags etc.. It is therefore critical to get this right since I do not want Google to miss the right settings during next crawl.

To derive the optimum configuration for my case, I need to mention that the en-US targets customers in the US, but since there is a much wider English speaking audience in the world, we would ideally like to serve the en-US content to anyone who wants to read our content in English, apart from Singapore – where there is a standalone English version /sg. I believe that the rest of details are clear from my current configuration, i.e. Greece should be served the /gr, Korea the /kr, Japan the /jp, Mandarin speaking in Singapore or elsewhere the /zh-sg version respectively.

So how to handle this scenario effectively and ultimately correct the mixed up results shown from Google? This is my question.

After updating the pro version, I also get to see a meshed up page. Initially, after updating I got the following message: The plugin PDFEmbedder-premium/mobile_pdf_embedder.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist. I deactivated, deleted and then reinstalled the plugin but the problem persists.
How can I roll back to the previous version, while their support team investigates this issue? Can anyone share the previous Pro version please?

It has been and still is difficult for me to resolve this. I have invested a lot of time in order to create a fresh local copy of my theme – in order to follow your advice about the deactivation of the plugins and pagebuilder (WP Bakery).

I can confirm that the issue is not related to the page builder. In fact, by doing so, I found out that what I was seeing before by using the shortcode: [cusrev_trustbadge type=”VSL” color=”#373737″] was incorrect since the store rating was not displayed at all. Now I can see this option exactly above the product rating on this badge.

Anyhow, part of the issue persists, which means that it is not 100% theme-related, but somehow to the settings of the plugin itself – and/or some other conflict with one of my plugins.

I was aiming to find a quicker fix, and to be honest with you, I do not have enough time to dedicate for simulating this error on my local environment.

I have managed to make some progress, which you may see in the /kr frontpage. there seemed to be some initial padding applied, causing those extra bit of “lines” appearing due to the padding spaces. So I had to apply the following CSS code:

Unfortunately, I cannot still get it to appear as desired. Especially, that bit where the number of reviews are displayed, that is currently on a white elliptical background on the right side of the trustbadge. Just not sure how to get this color set to a slightly darker version of the green color appearing on main area – in order for the number of reviews (currently in white color) to come to life. At the moment the reviews are not shown because both the background and the text color is white.

Please visit the above link and scroll somewhere in the middle of the page, where I have injected the trustbadge by using a text block, where I pasted the shortcode: [cusrev_trustbadge type=”VSL” color=”#FFFFFF”]. No matter where I place it, it looks incorrect. For example, the stars are not aligned correctly and there seems to be thick lines like the encircled one on the right of the trustbadge. Some cannot be seen due to the background color.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Indeed, it was a conflict between Customer Reviews for WooCommerce and WP Rocket. It was a very strange issue but it seems to be fixed for now.

I am also trying to use a trustbadge on my website by aplying the corresponding shortcode: [cusrev_trustbadge type=”VSL” color=”#FFFFFF”] with a Text Block.

Unfortunately, however the trustbadge is not displayed correctly. Please have a look and let me know your thoughts. I have verified that this issue is not associated with WPRocket.

After clearing the cache in WP Rocket multiple times, I experience the following issue. Sometimes when I visit the page from an incognito window, the attributes are not there. While some others, the attributes reappear. Very confusing!

Hello,

Thank for your help. I always visit from an incognito window. Having followed your guidelines, I found out that it is my caching plugin WP Rocket that causes this issue, not Cloudflare. I have purged the WPRocket cache but it doesn’t work.
It seems however that this issue is somehow connected to WPRocket.

Still not sure what to do.

Please see the image attached, which also shows the webpage together with the specific attributes that I would like to hide. Please scroll down somewhere in the middle of my homepage where the 6 products appear. Then, exactly below each product, you will find 3 attributes entitled: brand, manufacturer, and color.

I am not sure what the best way to hide those attributes are. I tried to use a css fix:
.ltx-wc-attr-list > div.item:not(:nth-child(1)):not(:nth-child(2)):not(:nth-child(3)):not(:nth-child(4)):not(:nth-child(5)) {
display: none !important;
}

However, for some reason, when using this fix it only works for logged in users which gave me a further headache. Your help will be appreciated.
