In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Site login breaks when DEactivating Smart Slider 3Thank you, @laszloszalvak, will try! It must be something along that line, bc it still happened when I removed the 2 instances where I use the slider. I have a suspicion (another graphics-intense plugin that also has issues), but there is no incompatibility warning so far. I’ll post the solution if I find it.
Oh, yes, that is the simple solution: I only added myself as Notification recipient for testing. And then didn’t receive this notification. A different user actually does get them, just tested that. Thank you – all is fine! So I’d only ask you to add this to the documentation.
Or, alternatively, maybe add the feature to send a slightly different email to the user making the status change or comment containing the list of users that received the notification. This is good to get an extra confirmation that e.g. the editor was put into the loop. I’d really use this as a feature!
Just as a suggestion.
All notifications that I’ve used so far (password change, creation of new users) worked nicely, sending notifications to both admin and user. Not sure if there are other notifications that I could check with. PublishPress notifications for status changes and comments do not work (are there any other in PublishPress?).
Thanks for looking into this!
Great. I don’t know how I can help but here are the list of active plugins that are being used:
Jetpack
Akismet
Easy Google Fonts
Easy Twitter Feed Widget
My Private Site
Official StatCounter Plugin
Simple Custom Post Order
Updraft Plus
WP-DraftsForFriends(Btw. notifications not being sent was also the case for Edit Flow…)

In reply to: [Edit Flow] notifications are not sendingSame here. WP w/ plugins:
Jetpack, Akismet, Easy Google Fonts, Easy Twitter Feed, My Private Site, Official StatCounter, Updraft Plus, Drafts for FriendsNo email notification for either a full group or just the author. Neither on status change nor on new discussion comment. Password change generates notification. So same situation as for @joeco.
