In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] vulnerabilityHi.
Is this issue related and affects only multisites?
When this plugin is working on a single regular site, the site is not affected by the issue in question?
Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Why 8.5.0 version is not available to download? Is it safe to downgrade to version 8.3.1 for now, until the fully fixed version is due to be released tomorrow?
Are they f****ing kidding me?!?
Anyway, I’ve enabled this service on the website, and the error message is gone. But still the images on the front are served in their original format, only with the “-optimized” suffix in their file names, like mentioned above…
Why are the image still not converted, although the process take some time to run (943 images) and finishes successfully.
I’ve sent this error message to the technical team of the hosting company and they said it cannot be done, as I have no root permissions on my server.
Is there a working alternative to that or am I “doomed” not to be able to take advantage of this plugin?
Yes, I had to change the image loading mode to “bypass”, as I get the server configuration error message. I wasn’t sure what it meant, so I went for the option that clears this error for me.
What does this error mean and why do I see it? What can I do about it?
For that matter, I should mention that I’m hosting this site on Cloudways, so if there is something that I need to do from the hosting server side, or something that I can ask them to do, I’ll be happy to know what it is.
Hi there.
I expect the images to be actually converted to “.webp” format.
Meaning, when I have a certain image in “.jpg” or “.png” format on the site, and I run the converter, I expect this image to be served in its “.webp” format from now on.
Maybe I didn’t understand completely how this plugin works?…
If I do understand it correctly, what I actually see in my site is that the image remains in its original format, but this is a different physical image that now has a suffix of “-optimized” in its file name.
For example: “myimage.jpg” -> “myimage-optimized.jpg”.
While it is great to have all the images optimized automatically like that and with one click, they are not converted, “only” optimized.
You can see this for example here:

In reply to: [WP Shortcodes Plugin — Shortcodes Ultimate] custom field typeAwesome, thanks!
Thank you very much!
I see.
It’s good to have a workaround of course (and it indeed does tha trick in this case!), as better having something than nothing, but is there an estimate for issuing a fix for this bug?
And thank you for taking the time and replying me here with this valuable information and update!
Hi.
Thanks for this reply.
I saw the reference to the translations issue on another topic here for a similar error message, and already checked that.
Right now, there are no updates whatsoever on the sites that show this error.
I also removed Yoast SEO plugin from the site and re-installed it.
WP is on latest version, and all plugins are updated, including translations…

In reply to: WP admin not working after trying to upgrade to 4.3.1Found it!
I forgot that I’ve changed my IP address a few days ago, so I had to whitelist also the new IP.
Now everything is working fine!

In reply to: WP admin not working after trying to upgrade to 4.3.1Actually, I’ve managed to get it back to work by restoring the site’s files with the Backup & Restore feature of the hosting account at BlueHost.
Now I’m having a problem connecting to the MySQL database of the website…Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WP admin not working after trying to upgrade to 4.3.1I’ve downloaded WP 4.3.1 and copied all the files from the zip file onto the FTP account of the site, overwriting everything in it (excluding the /wp-content folder). Btw, the config file is originally called wp-config-sample.php, so it didn’t overwrite anything.
Still nothing under wp-admin!…
