In reply to: How to implement SEOI think Platinum SEO is as simple as activating it. Look below your new posts, and you should have a window with Platinum SEO. I always manually enter that info, but if you don’t I think it automatically fills in.

In reply to: What are my obligations? Thanks. I looked at the legal issues. I don’t think we’ll devolve to that, especially if I can offer him something. I was thinking of offering a “were you looking for…?” link from my page to his home page.
Thoughts on this, as far as size and placement? Is this too generous, or not enough? What would you do in this circumstance?
search other wordpress wiki-tagged posts. i solved this problem using role manager, and developing a custom editor role. it’s at wikiRFM.cyclicandcollective.net.
I’d be interested in anybody who has a strategy for coaxing visitors into editing. i’ve had 400+ hits in 2 weeks, and i can barely get anybody to rate or comment, much less edit.

In reply to: WordPress Wiki Fatal Error, Whacked Privilegescreated a new profile and set it as the default. allowed upload files, edit wiki, and read privileges. Try it out…see if it works and make an edit to the bug reporting page. i’m still trying to get friends to test it out.

In reply to: WordPress Wiki Fatal Error, Whacked PrivilegesTurns out it was simply the PHP version my host was running. Upgrading to PHP 5.x solved the second problem, and monkeying with Roles in Role manager solved the first. Since it seems to be working now, you can see my WordPress Wiki here. Thanks WP Support!

In reply to: WordPress Wiki Fatal Error, Whacked PrivilegesOkay, bringing it back to 2.7.1 didn’t fix this problem. I guess I’ll try some other things now. Sure is quiet here.

In reply to: [Plugin: WordPress Wiki] Roles problem with wiki pluginRole manager worked for me in sorting out privileges , but I still haven’t had any luck getting past the error that is crashing posts when wiki editors attempt to make a change.

In reply to: WordPress Wiki Fatal Error, Whacked PrivilegesRole manager was helpful…the default settings for the Wiki Editor were too permissive (there were many more capabilities allowed than just read and edit wiki). So that is fixed. Thanks blondishnet.
Still getting the Fatal Error. This is after deactivating, deleting, and getting the plugin from the plugin site (it’s not on the developer’s site).
Could it be a 2.8 compatibility issue? Any easy way to roll-back to 2.7 or other workarounds? The wiki feature is essential for me.
