Maybe you should just try to match the colors from your background instead of inserting the background. If that’s where the issue is, then it’s easier to remove it than to try and work around it.

If you made this theme from scratch, it might be an issue in the CSS or how it’s coded up in another file.

But if you find another theme and do minimal edits, then you should be fine.

I’m looking at your site with Firebug (it’s a FF extension) and it’s telling me that the <div> for your sidebars isn’t there, though the code shows it.

It’s displays as nested underneath your last post. Which is terribly odd.

It might not display properly for you because of CSS compatibility issues, but it’ll give you a frame work.

I’m thinking it’s a bit of both, but I can’t find the problem and neither can you.

There are plenty of themes that you can add your own headers to and modify. You could even make your own if you are ambitious enough!

I wasn’t trying to fix anything when I looked at your CSS. I was trying to make it parse better. And it did some of that.

I’m stumped now though. I don’t know what could be causing IE to mess up like that.

According to the W3 HTML validator, your content area isn’t properly closed.

Maybe that’s the issue?

I did some editing to your CSS that might help a little. I noticed when I was going through it that you had some duplicated entries and other items.

I just noticed that your contentleft area has a larger width than the content div in which it’s contained. You should probably shrink the width of contentleft to either match content or be less than content. Same with singlecontent.

I don’t know how to apply conditional tags to pages with certain templates.

The above fix is the only one that I know of that might help you.

It’s also not displaying properly in FF anymore.
