I uninstalled the plugin but it is still running. How do I get rid of it. Images are not showing up but the title and old links are.

Thank you so much. You saved me months and months of headache and grief. Deleting from the cpanel file manager worked. I deleted the file. Reinstalled from the website, activated, checked links and they work!

Still not working for me. I have 3 sites that now have thousands of non-working links at the busiest time of the year. This sucks. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it won’t reinstall on any of the sites.

I have installed another program on one site to begin fixing links but I can’t correct years in a few days. I am literally only getting one or two pages done a day.

I just hope that if it ever does run again that my data will still be there for it to pick up where it left off.

Any more suggestions will be appreciated.

BTW – There is this error: “The plugin does not have a valid header”

Just tried for the 3rd time and it did activate this time.

I have no idea what is causing this issue.

I am having the same issue.

I uploaded the patches, but had a problem with that for some reason the class-simplepie.php seemed to be caught in a loop and kept repeatedly uploading.

After it uploaded and over wrote 5 times I stopped the ftp program. I went back to the blog and the scheduled post has posted, but I am still unable to correct or edit the categories.

Anyone have a clue?

In 2.9 I have discover that I cannot schedule posts and I can not update, edit or add categories.

One of my categories is misspelled. and can not change it. How embarrassing.

Can’t schedule any post. I get the message after the scheduled time “missed scheduled post”. Then the only way I can post it is to change it to pending post, wait a few minutes, refresh, then publish. If I try to publish immediately, it won’t allow it.

I don’t have Podpress plugin (from MightySeek) as a plugin. I do not have any inactive plugs, until I deactivated as a test. I have deactivated the new plugins since the 2.9 update, but it didn’t help.

My blog is not “https://example.com/blog” it is “https://blog.com”.

Where am I suppose to “Add this to the to defines in your wp-config.php file:
define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true);”

I know nothing about coding so don’t know where exactly to insert this in the wp-config.php file.

I don’t know what happened as I didn’t do anything else. I was waiting for a response to my last post. All of a sudden the visual came on and I was able to get in a post. I am working on a page now and so far it seems to be working now too?????

I have no clue. Your guess will be as good as any ’cause I sure don’t have one.

I have tried everything and still can’t get the visual to work. It is not in the theme, either as it doesn’t work in any of them including the default, Kubrick theme. I am not using Gears and the box “Disable the visual editor when writing” in Your Profile is not checked. I have reinstalled it,and deactivated all plugins, and reinstalled again. Still nothing.

I am so disgusted. I had just nuked my whole blog because of being hacked for the 5th time with viruses! Here I am trying desperately to get a new, clean version up and running and can’t add a post or a page.

@azzozz The only thing I haven’t done yet is to try adding the code
define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ). I am not a techie and don’t understand where exactly I should be putting this code without screwing everything else up.
