In reply to: [Download Manager] Files can’t be downloaded@shafayat-alam, thanks: Disabling output buffering fixed the issue for Safari, but you know this is a monkey-fix: Notice that the errors have nothing to do with server settings, as the problem is entirely client-based. Secondly, as I have indicated before, we have a tiny annual budget and we
are a non-profit organisation, so there is no way we are going to find ourselves committed to the high license costs of WPDM Pro, let alone the plugin you suggest.
We have so many issues with WPDM that even if we had the budget, I would not recommend to the trustees that we license it – it is just not yet worthy of such an investment. For example, the fact that re-linking a file takes one through a third-party plugin which always places you at the file root, and not at the current file location – or even at the most recent file location, is a major issue for us.

In reply to: [Download Manager] Files can’t be downloaded@shafayat-alam, and what do you say to the Safari Desktop issue?
Currently 8.92% of the world cannot download anything.

It’s not interesting. What is sad is that it is the history/stats are showing successful downloads, but they are not. They are broken.

In reply to: [Download Manager] Files can’t be downloaded@coimbra, it may be the case that we are looking at two separate problems with Download Manager. I’m seriously considering switching out the plug-in, especially as they do not offer any discounts for non-profit organisations.

In reply to: [Download Manager] Files can’t be downloadedVersion 3.2.84?– Downloads fail on Desktop Safari (version 17.2.1 ) with the following errors:
/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
Status: 400
Initiator: jquery.min.js:2:80630This is only with WPDM 3.2.84?plugin on WordPress 6.4.2?and is a recent failure.
(the files are in /uploads/download-manager-files/ and it works in chrome – fails on Desktop Safari – works in IOS Safari also).

In reply to: [OceanWP] ocean_ custom fields should be filtered.I put it into a child theme – but it should be part of your deployment.
I have no idea why you would want to show end-users an entire bunch of ocean_ private settings. If you would like to explain why you leave them unprotected, then maybe I can understand where I am mistaken.
I’m had this problem too, but only with the initial registration, that leads to the state of “Waiting e-mail confirmation” – in other words, all new registrants are not receiving the email that allows them to confirm their email address.
“Account Activation Email”?is checked, with the subject line ‘Please activate your account’ – and default copy.
Using UltimateMember 2.7.0
server email facility was tested / validated via “Check & Log Email” plugin.
While fixed the problem by turning “Account Activation Email” off and then on again, it is not funny that the checkboxes appear to say one thing but are wrong.
