I’m not sure what a ‘theme editor’ is. Redux is an options framework. It doesn’t edit a theme at all. It sets options. Since iBid is a premium theme I do not have access to, your best course of action is to contact the theme author and report this to them. As we are a developer’s product and not a consumer product, if the theme author discovers an issue with Redux, he can report it to us with the supporting data, and we’ll work with them to solve it. They are the only ones who can grant us access to their theme.

A better idea would be to try the v4.5.0.3 beta with the Customizer fix…and starting a new ticket instead of piggybacking someone else’s with an unrelated issue as I usually will not see it after the ticket is closed.

WordPress changed some HTML in the customizer sections. Rolling back will not fix that.

That’s the only alterative you really have, rolling back to 4.4.18. Unfortunately, it we won’t be able to support it as all new fixes go into the latest version. Sorry.

No, this is something different. We have changed the minimum PHP requirements for Redux to PHP 7.4 or higher. This error message in indicative that you are using some lower version (or some lower version is set in your .htaccess).

The solution to to update the version of PHP you are running. 7.4 minimum. 8.2 is recommended. If you are unsure how to accomplish this, please contact whomever your web server provider is and ask them to update PHP to the latest version.

Yes. Do not run two versions of Redux simultaneously as they will create many more issues. Download and install that updated version and active *that* version. If it works, you can delete the old version. When Redux gets updated again, it will replace the beta version you’ll stick with for the immediate fix.

Currently, there are no new plans for multilingual?support. Usually plugins have their own adaptability or SDK (like WPML) that explains how to integrate other plugins. Perhaps Polylang has something similar. As far as translations go, all the strings we use Redux are translated.

For the final time, we have no control over how theme developers use Redux. We do not have access to those themes and consequently do not support them. Please contact the theme developer for theme support.

We cannot. When Redux generates content, it is, in fact, a content generator. If the theme author wants to hack around and do so, we cannot stop them. You’d have to ask the theme author.

Unless you are the theme developer and/or you are learned in writing a child theme with WordPress API to add code to your site, you can’t. There is no simple ‘layman’ way to do so.

As this appears to be someone else’s theme (and if no I apologize). I would contact their support and ask them the steps to do it. We typically do not support theme users and Redux is a developer’s product, not a commercial one.
