it was theme related. Some themes overwrite the pagination

ok seems like I found a Workaround for Flothemes:

Settings -> Flotheme -> Pages -> Additional Pages -> Posts Per Page

default = 10

set it to whatever u want and the same value for the amount of events in the event list. U might need to manually adjust the blog page then if u want a different pagination there.

updated my theme. The issue with the initial loading of the event list is still broken. That makes me wonder why damn.

You are right. If I switch to the default theme, the issue is gone. What could be wrong? =/

How can it display more events on my list being on a different theme??

there is a setting in “general” called “Blog Loop”. In German it says

“Veranstaltungen in Blog Loop integrieren (Veranstaltungen werden zusammen mit den normalen Artikeln angezeigt)”

That Event page in upper right doenst look that bad, in general its not that buggy than mine which lists only 6 events no matter what i do ??

Do some CSS and it might be fine 4 u.

It is set to “4 events per page”. If you to one page ahead, u’ll get the same events again. If you move back then, the event page itself is fine as well.

If I set it to eg 10 with a total of 7 events, it still lists only 6 per page and the next page is empty. Same her, if I go back again, its fine.

check what events it loads once u enter. Then go to next page, check that one, and then back to the previous.

I set my event per page to 4, testwise. The initial load of the list is mess.

It seems to load ~”6″ events by default. Some here report that events are shown twice. That is the case for me if I set the value “events per page” to lower than 6. I can shift to next page then and see the same events again. once i go back, its fine.

I set the value 100 per list event page in the settings, but I also get 6 events shown while more exist. It displays a button to next page which is empty then. If I move back to the previous page, that button has gone and all is correctly displayed.

If I set it to a lower value than 6 events per page, eg 4, its still messed on first load. if i scroll through pages then it works.

i guess u can uncheck the checkbox in settings called “show events in blog”. To get the events in your menu, simply click on customize on ur page and add the evet page to ur menu

i’ll do my best to support in terms in debugging this case.

Im not very familar with this web dev stuff. I just installed this plugin and I added some css to eg get the time and date in list event view colored differently, nothing functional.

If a admin account helps, I can create one for your team. The testing conflicts page is known by me, did mpost of these points except the test with stock wp skin.

Its obviouly a bug as many people seem to face this uncomplete event listing. Same for me (no i did not customize anything in this calendar prlugin). If we can support you in any way of debugging into this issue – I can offer an account to my page to find out what going wrong in this plugin.

okay. I think we need to start over again. Events are listed i guess, same as in my page, but not all. If u click on next page (whyever ther should be in mine) and simply go backwards, you will see all events like it should be. But not on the first time after a page reload.

Posting the same snippet ” testing for conflicts ” doenst help a single person her. Instead I suggest you to read the posts .

go ahead. Empty as it should. Go back. Missing event (last one) there. All I “customized” is the creation of a few events and i deleted some or shifted them.

If i create a new event inbetween, another event disappears. Like as if the index of the events is broken and leads to a wrong set of borders. I said to list 100 events in one page, it should never put the option to go to an empty next page.
