This did not solve the problem for me.
Interesting dynamics – perhaps this helps to see what’s going on??

The Bulk Delete plugin you recommended, Benjamin, dealt with this same issue for me brilliantly (though I didn’t have it quite as bad with about 1/10 the number of events mkettle has)
Thanks Ben. Deleted all the events with Bulk Delete and back up and running with a healthy website! Scary how long it took going through thousands of events, but it worked.
Thanks!!
I deleted all my feeds shortly after the WP update broke the plug-in (when I realized they were reimporting but creating new bad events rather than just overwriting the bad events).
Has anyone else seen the problem that I have where the bad events only show up one to a page in the Event list in the dashboard?
I welcome all ideas on how to delete them (that ideally don’t require going into the MySQL database directly)
So the update is out, I installed it, and it does import my feed successfully.
HOWEVER, and here’s the big “BUT…” — I checked the first event it imported, which is one that had been in the feed previously, and found the number “127” appended to the event name. As in, this event is in my database previous 126 times – which explains why I have 12,000 extraneous events in my Events list. Unfortunately, I can’t bulk edit them, because the filters that might let me do that don’t work with the broken events. And they come up, for some inexplicable reason one to a page, then the page conks out and doesn’t show anymore. And if I do a search, it finds the first one, and none of the other 126… So how do I clean out my database now??

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Timely Clogging issueI am having a similar issue. See my post here:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/bulk-delete-events?replies=7I am curious if you see your events in the same broken way I do when you go to the dashboard and choose Events/All Events — my “broken” events show up one to a page, even though there are thousands of them. I think my feed was getting imported hourly for several days, each import adding in without overwriting the existing events.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Bulk Delete Eventssorry, that second link somehow got the “)” included it and it doesn’t work. The correct link is:

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Bulk Delete EventsMy issue is that I have over 600 pages (x20 events, so that’s about 12,000 events) of events that are date and timeless – I have deleted my feeds, but these events didn’t come out with them (and apparently must have been reimported many times before I got rid of them because I had nowhere near 12000 events)
When I get to the first date- and time-less page, only one event shows on the page, so I can’t bulk delete anything. If I delete that one event, another shows up on the page instead – but again only one. I can’t delete 12,000 events one at a time!
In case I haven’t explained it well, I’ve uploaded a screen cap here:
https://waylandenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Screen-Shot-2016-01-07-at-5.58.37-AM.png. Every page from 83 to 706 looks like this.(while a “healthy” page of my events looks like this: https://waylandenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Screen-Shot-2016-01-07-at-6.00.29-AM.png)
I know you are releasing an update. I am really hoping it will deal with this.
Very glad to hear a solution is on the way!
Will this new version include a way to get rid of the messed up (date- and timeless) events that are bogging down our sites?
Seconding what lifebridgesoha said. And I’ll add to that that most of these flawed events are for some reason showing up one to a page, so deleting them is impossible. And they are also messing up search on my site – as soon as one of the flawed events is encountered, the search returns nothing else. So my site is completely crippled.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Google calendar feeds not showingWas just about to report this as well. Thanks for keeping us up to date.

In reply to: [Coraline] right column overlapping main bodyIt would just take too much vertical space. I created scaled down graphics that don’t need resizing and replaced the ones that were there. That seems to have fixed the problem. But I don’t understand why I needed to do that. I had 200×300 graphics that I was sizing at 100×150, and only Firefox was displaying them incorrectly. Still learning… ??

In reply to: [Coraline] right column overlapping main bodyI can make them smaller, but I can’t run them vertically. Odd, though, that the problem is only in Firefox — the page looks fine in all the other browsers I tried, even when I make the browser window tiny.
