Yahoo webhosting says I do not have access to either of these files on this server – they are not on this server, its shared hosting, so if they exist then they exist – either on Woo Themes – which this an install of or on www.ads-software.com.

The reason I am getting a redirect loop and a 410 Yahoo error is because the server keeps looking for the category files and cannot find them. so it keeps going in a loop.

I have Yahoo web host support online and they tell me there is no htaccess file, I am getting a 410 page gone yahoo error

Hi Samuel – I cannot find the wordpress .htaccess file – I am in the 3.0 version – and I have looked through my whole folder of videoblog and cannot find it.

Thanks I tried that – no go, that was one of the first things I tried. the last thing I just tried was setting it to custom structure – /%category%/%postname%/ – HAD absolutely no affect. Look you know more then me. I am getting desperate. I can see in the admin panel 153 posts – I can edit and resave the posts – the posts do change on the main homepage of the site. I have a backup from wordpress database backup – of the essential files. I know they are in MySql tables.
What do I do next. ??? its frustrating cause I can see all the posts and edit them and the categories and tags and edit them too.

what if I take each post and make a new blog with them – like give it a new address url or something like that? would that work – I guess I could copy each post and all the tags one by one and give the blog a new name?

Sounds like you should ask Blue Host. If I had a similar problem in Host Gator I would ask them for help. They ought to be able to fix this. I have locked myself out of my themes before too.

Yes I have a page called home (also excuse me if you just looked at this I have been trying to fix it and I am not getting anywhere) – so if you now click on https://coloradonaturedesign.com/blog – it goes to the blog page… I do have a page called home ANd I thought well I would just delete it. That did not work either. What happened was if you clicked on the about page and tried to go to the blog page… you got the about page again.
Please help me – this is a clients website and is costing me money not to have this fixed. My url in general settings for blog is https://coloradonaturedesign.com/blog and for the blog address I have https://coloradonaturedesign.com/blog ALSO.
AND in the Reading setting (under general) I have front page displays your latest posts and for posts page I have home checked.
What I am really having problem with is when you are in the blog area and click on a page and go from that page to the blog page – you cannot see the blog.

Good morning, well but I and my MySQL guy got this flu… anyway the word press blog is back up at https://countyfairgrounds.net/videoblog BUT, I still have a major problem. I can post okay. However if you click on any of the posts individual titles – you know its suppose just show that post and the link to that post in the browser bar – well, I get – “sorry Yahoo cannot find this page” – on every post that I try this with… This is going to cause a serious problem in posting each particular post (well the new ones especially) to social bookmarking services and the like… HELP

Can you tell me – however… for my peace of sleep…. is it possible to reinstall this database – which we have in the whole MySQL system on Yahoo, into the knew install of word press on yahoo? currently I have three folders in Yahoo now – 1)videoblog (new install) 2)videoblogone ( the database backup I did from the blog itself at the end of December – when I updated the wordpress blog then) 3)videoblogold – these were the files I copied out of my videoblog to my computer to move to HostGater – and these were the files I put back after I found we had to move back to Yahoo)

Question 2: I noted that in both cases when I moved the number 2 and 3 bak – there was this file that did not install in both installs – (when I ftp’t them … Shine v1.3 Updates.txt WHAT is this? and why did it not reinstall? Does it have something to do with this?
