One more thing what I noticed is
I tried installing Jetpack plugin
it went to this screen and stayed there
Installing Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com 4.1.1

Downloading install package from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/jetpack.4.1.1.zip…

but when I checked the folder /xyz/wp-content/upgrade
the jetpack folder with files are available
But the plugin doesn’t show jetpack as available
Please help me on this

I got your point
But my problem is
Iam not able to install neither themes or plugins
I could unzip and upload the theme via ftp
but plugins are stuck

It just stays here
