I think this might be what you are needing… a bit confusing that they call it “home” when it may or may not be your home page, but regardless it checks to see if it’s the posts main page.

I’m not sure I’m fully understanding your question, but I’ll do my best to give a few options that might solve your problem. If you can post a link to your site that would be helpful.

If you set up your news article page as a subpage of your blog page that should do the trick.

Under settings in your dashboard, go to permalinks… you can click on “custom structure” and adjust there… this will also affect page links not just post links however, and probably isn’t an ideal solution.

I’m not familiar with cform… but I would suggest checking out Contact Form 7, it has the ability to create custom fields, and to send two emails with different content and inject fields from the form into the emails. It does use a bit of html, but it’s super basic, <p> and
… you can of course use additional html, but should be able to get accomplished what your needing with the basics.

I’ve used Fast Secure Contact Form in the past and been happy with that plugin, you can create your own questions/fields with it. Recently used it on a dentist website, so similar to what you are needing. You might also check out Contact Form 7, I’ve used that once recently as well and was also happy with it.

I typically just add the specific classes and ids that Fast Secure Contact Form uses to the stylesheet in my theme and style them there. Typically in my experience if you edit the stylesheet for a plugin every time you update the plugin you have to re-edit the stylesheet.
