OK, update. It appears this is ore to do with the WP Read-Only plugin!

…the entire interface is built around the FlexSlider 2 jquery slideshow/carousel.

I noticed that when I have this script configured to ‘fade’ instead of ‘slide’ that the form DOES update correctly. However I still cannot seem to pin point where the issue is that I need to correct!!!

You can view the same site with ‘fade’ set for the FlexiSlider 2 by adding ?fade=1 to the URL if that helps in any way.
