I followed the steps from www.ads-software.com, so I though I purchased the domain from them, but my receipt is showing from wordpress.com. I am new at this, but I followed the steps from www.ads-software.com, so I do not understand how this happened.

I am not sure why. I went to the www.ads-software.com site and went to its list of recommended hosts, which bluehost was on the list. I went to bluehost and started an account, then loaded wordpress from the bluehost cpanel. From there I started an account, and purchased the .com domain so it didn’t have the wordpress.com domain.

I am using a WordPress user account that has administrator role. I contacted Bluehost and received this:

The problem appears to be that your name servers point to wordpress.com. (see below) As such it is not loading from our servers and you may not have this functionality on WordPress.com To Use WordPress on our servers you will need to contact your registrar to change your name servers to point to us. Our name servers are NS1.bluehost.com and NS2.bluehost.com
