You are not going to believe this. I went into my profile area and there was a box that somehow got checked that said “disable visual editor when writing.” Unchecked it and tada, it worked.

Java seems to be working. When I went to that page it said to install something or other for Javascript (sorry should have paid more attention) but after that it appeared it was working.

I reinstalled WP.

No luck so far. I restarted Firefox after each install. (I also tried in EI but doesn’t work there either.)

?? for your seed starter. I can’t wait for a little warmer weather.

oops – sorry. No that didn’t work either.

I deactivated all my plug-ins. I can’t see that I have any mu-plugins. No folder that I can see anyway. This did not work.

Here is what I ended up doing. I uploaded the png image; however, it would not accept the whole thing. It kept making me crop it more than I wanted to after uploading. I got frustrated. So, I made a new jpg header which included the title and the subtitle in the header image itself. I realize this doesn’t take care of the size problem of the header though. Then, on my dashboard in the header area I said no don’t display text. That got rid of everything above the header. It looks great now. Thank you so much for your help.

ok, I am playing around with the header to try to crop it. I will continue to work on that. Thank you. I inserted the above for the reply and inserted my own font specs and it didn’t change.
