I haven’t tried any solutions like this myself but I will ask my co-workers and see if they have any ideas on plugins that might work. Otherwise I think this is something you need to custom build yourselves.

After looking into this closer it seems as the only way to solve this at the moment is by adding your own custom CSS in your theme.

That’s correct that Klarna isn’t available in French so it defaults to the Euro country you have. All that you see in the screenshot is coming from Klarnas Iframe so it depends on what purchase country you send in to Klarna. So I think it will not be possible I’m afraid.

We usually see this together when using Elementor or any other Page Builder plugin and you receive this error message in the checkout:

It looks like an important part of the checkout experience failed to load and we are unable to offer you a way to pay right now.
Please refresh the page to try again. If this isn’t the first time you’ve seen this message then there may be a more permanent error and you should contact customer service at Klarna.com.

Then you need to check if you are using the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode in a regular text widget in Elementor? If you do, you need to use the Elementor shortcode widget or their checkout site page.
Elementor do not allow you to run shortcodes in the regular text widget for security reasons.

Sorry, since this was a report in the Klarna Checkout plugin forum, I thought that it was an issue related to Klarna checkout. I see from your support ticket that it is actually a problem related to the Klarna Payments plugin.

Sorry, but we can not help you with custom CSS.

The design inside the Klarna Checkout iframe is actually only possible to change via the color options available in the color setting section in the plugin.

That should be enough. Can you try and visit the site from an incognito window? It might be that it’s saved as your favorite payment way.

In the readme file in the https://github.com/krokedil/klarna-checkout-external-payment-method-for-woocommerce , there is a lof of information that might help you for example:
– External Payments Methods needs to be activated by Klarna in the merchants account before installing this plugin.
You need to this to get the PayPal to show in the Klarna Iframe.

Another option is:
You can set a text in the Klarna Checkout settings for Other payment method button text then you will see a button when showing Klarna that you can click on to get to WooCommerce standard checkout.

Thanks for the report. The changes between 1.11.7 and 1.11.8 are so small so I don’t know what might cause this problem. We are looking into it, but focus will be on getting the 2.x version to work for all merchants.

We will take a look at Cart Flow around this and see whaat is causing this. No timeframe on this but we have made an issue around this to look at.

Hi @incomepreneur.

The solution for this is to set a valid terms page in WooCommerce. Klarna requires this from the site to work properly.

You can do that by going to your admin panel, then to WooCommerce->Settings->Advanced and you can see the “Terms and Conditions” settings.
