Unrelated, how do I control the dimensions of the image that gets posted on Facebook? Original woo product image is 513p X 655p but when Nelio grabs the featured image it crops it to 470p x 250p – is there a way to set Nelio NOT to crop the images?

This plugin should not be adding a background to this image. This is bad standards. They should hook into an action. This is why I am unable to support it.

You really don’t want me trying to create a plug-boom, i mean plug-in!
These types of plugins exist out there but they are old and have not been updated in a longtime – I am always hesitant to install something that is old, unfinished, etc. that might cause security issues that I am oblivious to.
This project is not anything really sensitive, its just a buddypress / multisite install for my extended and scattered family to stay connected, like Facebook only just us folk and no ads, no creeps, no malware, no data farming! etc.
Just a safe place for family to get together.

Unfortunately with anamorphic to none it still is being stubborn. Tried also to use a 1280×720 with anamorphic set to none and that too is being stubborn. Both are at the same link, top one is 360, bottom one 720.

Thanks for looking into this. I created this bare bones site to try and be as clean as possible on plugins etc. When I did that I thought I would try the custom size because I wasn’t getting 16:9, I was getting a squeezed 480×360.

The camera used is a Sony FX7 in 1080i mode. I wish they had used the 720p mode available on that camera but they didn’t.

I believe that you are right, this camera does not do a “real” 1920 x 1080, it is a 1440 x 1080 stretched to 1920 from what I can tell

I will try to transcode it once again in handbrake with the picture settings you suggest.

The reason I am using 640×360 as my max size is because I believe that is the target market, people who live on rural farms seldom have fast enough bandwidth to stream anything larger? Maybe I am wrong in my thinking? Always open to suggestions.

Thank you. Interestingly it did track internal clicks between pages on my site a little less than a year ago, and then this stopped. I liked that feature and would like to find some tracking plugin that would help me analyze where people go when they land in my site.
Anybody have any favourite?
