I have the same problem. I’m running WordPress on Ubuntu and I just installed WP Post Thumbnail as a requirement for Featured Content Gallery. I tried to use WP Post Thumbnail for the fist time today, but the post is stuck saying “Loading original image for cropping …” even if I leave the page and come back. I’ve even deactivated the plugin and reactivated it, but I still get the same message with no way to cancel or retry.
