Author has put in FAQ answer to my Q about overlapping images:

Try adding code below to afterChange callback substitute #test_slider for your html_id:

function() { jQuery("#test_slider").css("background-image", "none"); }

Only problem is that I don’t know where to put this code?

I searched a little, it seems that this slider works with only one size images.

So, they all need to be adjusted to that size, otherwise there will be constant overlapping and positioning issues.

Well, that’s how things go, it still looks very nice and if I manage to crop images to fit, I’ll go with this slider.

And, yes, one more, is there a way to make pics always appear in center of the gallery, right now they are ‘tied’ to upper border.

i found fix in one of the blogs, it was about permalinks.

In your Permalinks options, set your “Custom Structure” to

/%category%/%postname%/

and your “Category Base” to

/.

don’t bother, i figured how to solve the issue.
removed header style and since i want completely blank page with content, uploaded an image and that’s it.

theme is Modernist.
