Thanks for your reply. I have tried several combinations without the expected result:

Registration Status: Auto Approve with the Pending role set to Require Admin Review

Registration Status: Require Admin Review with Pending role set to Auto Approve

Registration Status: Require Admin Review with Pending role set to Require Admin Review

I have also tried deleting the pending role, but it was automatically re-created so then I felt confident it was supposed to be there.

I will test the action without any other plugins to see if a conflict is causing the issue and will update this thread.

I am able to see the Google Map on your link, airdrummer. Can you share how you resolved the map not displaying?

I realize this post is 9 months old, but for anyone else struggling with the ability to accept zip files, I added zip to acceptable filetypes and it’s working now:

I’ve had the exact opposite experience. Emails to the admin for a new user go to a hosted exchange account (paid) and aren’t generated/received. The demo users I am setting up are using gmail and those approval/denials emails are being sent fine.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. Your advice gave me exactly what I needed. I really thought I had tried that, but I was using the box layout option so maybe that’s where I got messed up.

Please disregard. I disabled all but necessary plugins and the issue has gone away.
