OK, here is what I received from the TemplateToaster Support Team. In case somebody else has to make the plugin work.

Hi, To make ‘Display Widget’ work, you have to make custom changes in the function.php file of your theme. Go to installed WordPress folder -> wp-content -> themes -> required theme -> functions.php -> go to line number 2359 i.e. function templatetoaster_in_widget_form(), comment the whole function. Also, comment the line number 2263 add_action() and 2265 add_filter() in the same file. Sincerely, TemplateToaster Support

OK, here’s an update to this issue:

In WPML it’s possible to disable languages in order to not have partly translated content shown. Still in the admin area translations can be made. However, elementor seems to use something from the frontend and due to the fact that WPML disabled certain languages, elementor cannot access whatever is needed to edit the content.
This means currently it is impossible to translate content with elementor if the language of the content is disabled. This would mean as long as I want to edit content I either have partly translated sites online or I cannot edit with elementor. Is there any known solution to this?

thanks for the quick response. I just opened a ticked on their support site. I’ll see if there is a option to disable the TT feature so I can use your plugin. Thanks for the help and hopefully I can make it work with them since I prefer the more detailed approach of your plugin over their basic attempt to offer this functionality.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately this did not work for me. I noticed that whenever I set something (multiple combinations, also the ones you mentioned above) the settings are applied in your plugin but the regular option in WP also changes. So when activating a widget eg on the frontpage (only) the regular widget setting activites the widget to be hidden on the frontpage. So there’s definitely some relation. Enabling a widget to be shown in your plugin automatically disables it in the WP widget hiding menu… which results in the widget not being shown.
Only disabling your plugin enables me to uncheck the widget to be hidden within the default WP option. Is this wanted to overwrite the WP default or is this perhaps a bug?

Thanks, I’ll keep it opened till I identified the cause of the problem. Still there is the chance the cause is a result of an interaction with the AIO Security in which case I would need to get support again. If not, I will of course mark the topic as solved. ??

OK, good catch, I did that and was able to log in… so I will go ahead and do my best to identify the plugin which might cause this odd behavior.
The weird part is, all of the plugins I use on the site which does not work are also installed on the other two working sites. Not in the same combination but of the 2 working sites all plugins installed on the non-working site are installed as well…

Same here… I am no longer able to log in because of this.
Browser Cache was cleared, login attempts have been done on 4 different PCs (some even in other countries) with all of them having the cache cleared. Nothing worked. I can get back in when renaming the plugin directory, but as soon as I name it back, I’m out again with the same message.
It’s clearly the plugin causing this. Strangely enough this happens only on one of 3 sites I have, all on the same webspace with the same setup.
But again, it can be followed back to this plugin.
Please fix this asap so I can log in again without renaming the directory each time. Thanks!

I checked again to be 100% certain but the keys are correctly copied and pasted… maybe in the future it will be possible to choose between different captcha methods. Like I said, I personaly love the “Are you a human” captcha as it is somehow entertaining as well… ??

it will give you the following:

– reCAPTCHA is being loaded by the plugin.
– Classes exist, do the real check against ReCaptcha service.
– ReCaptchaResponse Object ( [success] => [errorCodes] => )

Then it tells you that there were errors during the process of storing the GB entry. It you like to check yourself as well, the URL from above is still the same one. Thanks for your help!

It seems like I managed to show the captcha on the form by disabling cachify for just this site. However the asterisk symbol for required fields still does not show and recaptcha does allow me to answer the “question” but however submitting the entry still won’t work because of recaptcha. Any ideas?

Also, how do you store the date in the database. I need to manually adjust it in order to take over old comments from the previous system. And I don’t really know how the number in the table related to the real date. ??

I don’t have any recaptcha plugin loaded on this site. Only the “AIO Security” plugin and the “Are you a human” plugin.
reCAPTCHA is enabled. First you don’t see it. Just send the entry and it will appear. This is also part of the whole issue with it.

The caching is done by cachify if that helps.

Ah, I can see that the eMail address will not be published. I will just add this information to the text and this will be fine as well.

But what about the recaptcha issue? Does the white label also cause this?
