Here’s the thing, when I go to google adsense and look at the ad types it should be giving, it’s all squares, skyscrapers, and the thin leaderboards. So why would the space they live in on the page be affected by google when they don’t have an ad that would ever fill that space?

I have noticed that it appears to just be the ads that should be leaderboard. If you look at my home page, warblogle.com, I have some spaces for square ads and they display correctly. But there are two spots where there are leaderboard ads and they are the new “too tall” size.

There’s even a footer one that is right, so it’s the smaller leaderboard size that is wrong. Not all ads.

Any idea why this ad group wasn’t affected on any other pages?

Honestly, I would just like for the ads on my single posts to go back to leaderboard.

So there is absolutely no way to get it to exclude the current post from the sidebar? It seems most people use tiles in the sidebar or other widget spot.

I love the tiles but I don’t want it show the tile for the post they are reading right at the top.

Just adding this to get the notification of response.

Hmm… I’m still seeing it in firefox. When I hover over it, the drop shadow goes away, but I’d like for it to be gone all the time.

I tried this, but it didn’t change anything.

That worked, but now I’ve noticed that drop shadow doesn’t show in chrome at all (it didn’t show before this change either), so I’d like to remove the drop shadow all together.

What CSS will do that?

Where exactly should “box-shadow: 0 0 1px 1px #ccc” go?

This only appears to happen when the padding between tiles is very small.

I was able to figure this out.
