Okay, though i am still not able to upload media onto twenty ten. I’m more than willing to stick with this one until I find out the problem.

after the clean install, twenty ten.

Yeah on a clean upload, without and themes installed i’m still getting the error. I did however get a few messages about files already existing even though I deleted them.

okay, now the theme has a whole new set of problems, it’s now saying it’s no “widget aware” and widgets have been working for the last two days….what could be going on to cause this?

I have no plug-ins at all

how can this keep on changing on it’s own?

edit: i’m deleting everything and downloading another fresh copy of wordpress. I haven’t done much to it so, it won’t take long for me to see if the problems persist.

the error message that displayed when i tried to upload media was “Error saving media attachment” and the only thing that displayed when I tried to add new links was the aforementioned phrase in my previous post (in quotes).

I have received no other error messages and now the site displays only blank pages

I changed the permissions in fireFTP for wp-content to each of the suggestions and did not find anything that works.

I should mention that in attempting to add new links to the site i get this:

Note: after trying that fix, my site only displays blank, white pages

Pardon my bluntness but, this is not resolved.

you’ll have to forgive my ignorance but, what is jQuery?

I haven’t made any adjustments to wordpress nor changed any settings besides changing some permissions in an attempt to solve a problem i have with uploading media.

I am having a similar problem, the text in the post editor is white except for when i click the “html” version. In which case it turns black, furthermore, when I switch back to “visual” mode it changes the text to black but with the html commands displayed.I also cannot edit the post further.

I am running the most current version of wordpress with a custom theme.
