hi @data443 – I have tested the latest version of the TCM plugin with the Jetpack 11.2 on the site I was having the problem with. I can confirm, the issue I was experiencing with the script printing at the top of the page is no longer occurring. Thank you very much for the speedy resolution and great communication!

Further testing has revealed the issue to be some kind of conflict between the most recent version of Jetpack — 11.2 — and the most recent version of Tracking Code Manager. It causes a link to the script to print out instead of running the script. I tested this on both a custom theme, as well as the twenty-twenty two theme.

On my end we will likely deactivate Jetpack for now to solve our issue, but wanted to report back.

Just wanted to update this and let you know, I am not a smart one… this was definitely a user role/permissions issue — I was set to the wrong user type. D’oh. Sorry for wasting your time!

Sometimes this can be caused by bad OpenGraph data (the data on your page Facebook uses to determine what the preview image, title, and description should be). This can be fixed sometimes by using the Facebook OG Object Debugger tool. Paste the URL, click debug. You should see the OG data with your “Database Error” in it. You’d then hit “Fetch new scrape information” and hopefully it’ll show correct information.

Issuu seems to use Flash exclusively for embedding (their normal embed code even does this) so I’m pretty sure it’s a limitation of the Issuu service rather than the plugin. Flash doesn’t work on iOS.

I don’t know if you still need this, but you should see them in the Admin bar under the Forums drop down (at least for bbPress — not sure about BuddyPress as I am only running the former).
