In reply to: [List Custom Taxonomy Widget] Dropdown not workingOK, can you recommend a different plug-in . . . or know of a tutorial on how to use a custom taxonomy? I’m a WordPress newbie.

In reply to: Nothing in my post text box after updating to 3.9I did as you instructed: deactivating each plug-in, then refreshing my admin to see if the plug-in was the cause of the problem. I discovered that the culprit is the ZipList Recipe Plugin.
I’ll notify the plug-in author of this problem.
Thanks for your help, Lee!

In reply to: [Comment Email Reply] Spam Problems Using Comment Email ReplyYou’re not understanding my question. The person who got the email did NOT comment on my blog. He looked at the blog post, but he did not comment.

In reply to: [Comment Email Reply] Spam Problems Using Comment Email ReplyI understood the plugin was to email commenters when I, as blog owner, reply. However, why would a blog subscriber who didn’t comment at all be getting an email?

I’m happy to deinstall it and install a plug-in if the latter works better.
Thank you.

In reply to: New post not showing upOK, this has gone to strange to more strange.
I just found out that what I’m seeing on my site when I access https://livingvintageco.com/2013/09/friday-favorites-from-living-vintage/ is NOT what everyone else is seeing. I can see the blog post title and date, then the Shareaholic share buttons and related posts and the “Leave a Comment” box. If I scroll down further on the page, I see the entire post. (I can provide screen shots).
However, when my followers access https://livingvintageco.com/2013/09/friday-favorites-from-living-vintage/, they are seeing a 404 error.
Also, at the suggestion of my theme designer, I deactivated all of my plug-ins one by one, and refreshed https://livingvintageco.com/2013/09/friday-favorites-from-living-vintage/ each time. She thought it might be a plug-in that might be causing the problem. However, this exercise revealed that a plug-in is NOT causing the problem.
After I got done with deactivating and reactivating plug-ins (and also deleting plug-ins that I haven’t used), I noticed that my Feedburner widget was gone. I mean, it just flat out disappeared! So, I went and looked at Appearance/Widgets. I was using the Genesis E-News widget, but now it’s just gone. I didn’t delete it. I wouldn’t know how.

In reply to: [jQuery Pin It Button for Images] Pin it button is working intermittentlyAh. OK, thanks!

In reply to: [jQuery Pin It Button for Images] Pin it button is working intermittentlyOK, I made that change under advanced options, and it worked initially on the home page and on an individual post.
However, when I click from an individual post back to home (using breadcrumbs), the Pin it button goes away. Also, when I go from one individual post to another, the Pin it button goes away. Also, when I click on my header image to return to home, the Pin it button goes away.
