I tried emptying the Cloudflare cache, and it made no difference.

I came up with a workaround and have it displaying in another Widget.

The icons are not displaying for me.

I’m trying to display the social icons in the Footer Widget. The site is hosted on Bluehost, WordPress 5.8, Genesis 3.3.5, Daily Dish Pro 2.0.0 child theme.

If I view the HTML source, the linkedn.com and facebook.com code is there, but nothing shows on the front-end.

I have been struggling with this a lot, so any and all help is greatly appreciated. The site is https://www.gloriamilner.com/

I was about to try what you suggested. I went to my Dashboard, and it showed an update, even though I updated manually earlier. It seems to be working now. Thanks so much for all of your hard work and for troubleshooting this!

Thesis 2.2.3. Your screenshot looks like you are running the 1.x.x series of Thesis.

I was able to upload the update from https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/tailor/ but it is still the same. Clicking “Tailor this Post/Page” doesn’t do anything.

Where can I download 1.3.0? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/tailor/ is showing 1.2.7 still; now updates available from the WordPress Dashboard either.

It seems to be working on the Genesis site now – somehow! I really don’t know. It must be related to disabling and then enabling the plugins.

On the Thesis site, I just don’t get any response when clicking “Tailor this Page” besides the URL adding the ?tailor=1 to the end.

To answer your questions:

I am on the edit screen in the administrator section and clicking on the “Tailor this Page” link in the Admin Bar and then seeing nothing.

If I navigate to a page in the frontend and add “?tailor=1” to the end of the URL, it does not do anything.

Are you running multisite or have any other unusual setup? No.
Are you both administrators (or some other special role)? Admin for WP and entire VPS.

Thanks for all of your help and for taking the time to investigate this and for trying to help troubleshoot this.

On both sites (Thesis 2.2.3 with the Classic Responsive Skin and on Genesis 2.3.0 with the Mindstream Child Theme), disabling all plugins except for Tailor had the same result – it doesn’t show the drag and drop boxes like shown in the plugin screenshots.

On both sites, I am only seeing the Customizing -> Tailor -> Layout when using the Customizer. Clicking “Tailor this Page/Post” has no effect. – https://i.imgur.com/levwdrH.png

Used Chrome/Firefox/Safari on Mac, FF/Chrome on Windows – all the same result.

I wound up creating an entirely new version of WordPress in another directory, a fresh database, and then I imported necessary files and database tables to their new counterparts. All seems to be working now. Thanks to everyone who tried to help. I really appreciate it. All the best, Kev.

Restarting php-fpm now gives me error 500 for all pages. I can load a phpinfo page that I made, but no WordPress pages now.
