In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Cron Jobs Causing CPU Spike?I’ve reduced the pages per interval to 8 although I don’t suspect this will resolve my massive CPU spike issue.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Cron Jobs Causing CPU Spike?I’m sorry I don’t fully understand your response.
This is fully right as in the settings or correct, or this is fully right as in these settings are the source of my problem?
Will disable database caching from disk.

In reply to: [Disqus Comment System] High server load and dsq_sync_forum problemhey had to search out this problem myself after noticing a ton of dsq_sync_forum requests in my Crontrol.
I’ve been fighting with my web host for days about getting a completely random cpu spike.
my site runs at around 0.2 server load all day and then randomly shoots up to 5.0 and gives a 503 error briefly before coming back down and behaving normal again.
I have gone ahead and disabled automatic comment sync to see if this hopefully prevents it from happening again, although recurrence is only about once per day!?
do you think this is the issue im having? my site is https://www.rapwave.net and im hosted on a standard 2GB VPS with Green Geeks.

In reply to: My images are all cut off on the right hand side? They are already set, yet the images still overflow and its hidden so some of it is cut off.
Sorry I made the proper adjustments and switched $size to ‘large’ and when i regenerate thumbnails it appears to work.
Now I’m just wondering how I can fix the width for “embedded” images in my posts.
Here is what I mean.
The top instance is calling for its full size at 640 with overflow, the bottom is embedded at my newly created “620” large size.
How can I contain ALL my pre-existing images to a maximum of 620px wide, including “featured images” and ones that have been embedded in posts?
The theme is titled Point.
it’s a responsive theme by theme forest. I tried this: <?php the_post_thumbnail( $large, $attr ); ?> and regenerated a thumbnail to the “large” setting to make it fit within the 620px but it still appears to clip and reference the “full size” with overflow for my featured image placement. im looking for a site wide image fix at this point.
