In reply to: [Nested Pages] Keeps changing my menuSorry to hear you’re still having problems.
Try the following:
1. Deactivate the Plugin
2. Visit Appearance > Menus
3. Delete any menus that the plugin has generated, & reassign your menu locations
5. Reactivate the plugin. Visit the Pages screen, uncheck and check the sync checkboxThe menu “Nested Pages” will be added by default… that’s expected behavior. There isn’t anything in the plugin that enables theme locations or overwrites existing menus though.
Hi Barb,
The latest release (1.1.5) addresses the “Pages” translation issue. It now pulls directly from the page post type labels, so if you’re running a fully translated version of WP, it will display correctly.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Nested Pages] Page categories not visibleHi Anton,
Correct me if I’m wrong, but when you enable categories for the “page” post type, the “categories” item is not added to the WP menu bar underneath “Pages” (as opposed to enabling them for another custom post type).I ran some tests on a fresh install and confirmed that behavior.
I may be misreading your problem though. The categories should definitely show up in quick view if they’re enabled (accessible by clicking the “Taxonomies” button).

In reply to: [Nested Pages] Keeps changing my menuI have an idea of what may be causing this, and am working on a patch update to address it. One question that may help – have you changed the name of your generated “nestedpages” menu, either under the plugin settings, or under Appearance > Menus?
This was brought to my attention by another user as well. It will be corrected in the next release.

In reply to: [Nested Pages] Custom Posts Feature RequestYes, there are plans on adding CPT/Category selections for menu items (similar to the native WP menu selections).
What’s not currently planned is full custom hierarchical post type support –?as in, fully replacing the post-edit screens like the page type.

In reply to: [Nested Pages] Font icons not showing in ChromeDave,
Just wanted to send you an update… I believe I have found a workaround for the server setting affecting this (the same way WP core handles it). This will be in the next update.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Nested Pages] Font icons not showing in ChromeThe draft pages issue has been corrected in the latest release, 1.1.3.
I’m still having trouble reproducing the icon issue. If you could send a screenshot to [email protected], that’d be helpful. I’ve tested across browsers in OSX, Windows 7, & WIndows 8.
If anyone else who may be watching this thread is having a similar issue, it’d be helpful if you chimed in.

In reply to: [Nested Pages] Font icons not showing in ChromeDo you happen to be on Chrome version 33? If not, would you mind providing some details about your setup? I’ve been unable to replicate.
RE: view in a new window – that will be included in the next release.
This issue has been addressed in the latest release of the plugin (1.1.1). Thanks again for pointing it out.

In reply to: [Nested Pages] Custom name for Synced MenuThat’s a good point I hadn’t considered. It most likely won’t make it into the next release, but I’ll take a look at having a custom menu name for a future version. I can see that being helpful in some sites I maintain as well.
