Oh and by the way — the theme is great for the ipad and iphone… the responsiveness is awesome and consistent…unlike some of the other themes I tried for this project.

Well I do have a cold so maybe I just couldn’t wrap my head around it last night. I couldn’t figure out how to get rid of a hover in the child sheet. But I finally got it. Thanks again for the help!

    The code worked great. Thanks.

And as for the tr hovers… it was just a really specific rule and it took me a long time to figure out how to override it. Parent themes shouldn’t have really specific rules if the intention is to allow the child theme to overrule.

But anyhow, this is only the second theme I’ve developed with and what do I know. Hehe. I have enjoyed working with this one. Thanks for your response and all your hard work.

Thank you for the code. I will try it.

I do not understand why someone would WANT hovers on rows. My issue was that it was doing a color change on a th where I did not have any links. To me a hover indicates a link is available or an action is available. Perhaps you use it with the intention of bringing focus to the data? But again, to me it’s really distracting and just screamed fix me because there is no action here, just data.

Figured out the tr hover thing. Wasn’t being specific enough in my CSS. Why would anyone need a hover on tr though?

    Still need help with #2.
