That plugin I was using…ad codes was not working and seemed to be blocking the text one when I used it…once deactivated it worked.

I have deactivated all the plugins and tried to use your idea of the text widget and I placed the whole code that I showed you earlier at the top yet now It wont even show up at all.

Anything that is html or other (which is what that news widget is) works fine. It is specifically Javascript that is the problem. I have tried deactivating plugins, not using plugins at all and just using the editor and other methods and still get the same result.

Can you try placing the ad I have on your demo site please and let me know if it works?

No I had removed the Ad for the time being. I also had tested it out when Ad Block is paused and I still get the same issue.
