In your opinion what’s the major difference between
1. TSF sets the attachment pages to “noindex” by default. You can modify this at “SEO Settings > Robots Meta Settings > Indexing > Post Type Settings
2. Origin extension

What’s the use case of the origin extension you can just handle it with the media noindex?

What’s really weird is that I tested it on a few variations and it worked on those, but on some it refuses to work.

/test_url// -> will not replace with /test_url/

but

/test1_url// -> will replace with /test1_url/

/test2_url// -> will replace with /test2_url/

If it is ascii codes, what’s weird is why some instances would use one code, while another instance would use a different code! (especially in the permalink!)

It’s a client site. I have no idea if they’re running nginx. I’m pretty sure it’s Apache though.

In the sitemap I do have an absolute URL!

Also – when I submit to Google Webmaster it tells me it can’t read the sitemap file which is weird.

2) I use about 50 different themes for these sites. So customizing is a pain which is why I was thinking of a plugin solution.

I’ve asked on a few forums as well and everyone recommends to modify the theme. So I guess there’s quite a need for something like this if it’s possible!
