How much RAM does this plugin consume? Is there any setting that really uses up RAM if activated?

“I figured out the solution…if you remove any of the original roles as defined by the core installation (even if they are not being utilized in any way) it will break the menu option functionality of the plugin. I had deleted the “Editor”, “Author”, “Contributor”, and “Subscriber” roles, leaving only the “Administrator” and my own custom role “Bike Registry User.” By re-creating these roles that I deleted, the plugin works fine.”

I have deleted the default roles since they are not used…and it seems the plugin is not working. ??

Maybe you have done the same?

Could I put that code in my theme functions.php? Or do I need an exec php plugin? I’d prefer to avoid the extra plugin route if possible.

I also have my SPF and DKIM records set. Could it be that when the enquiries come through somehow wordpress sends the mail and thus it’s getting flagged as spam by the inbox?

Do you think it could be the use of Google apps for email?

Thanks for response.

1) I have set custom email to be same as domain.
(otherwise you get a warning ?? on your plugin. – I have checked that it’s the exact same and same case as the domain in the settings tab.)
2) I have setup SPF and DKIM keys as well for various sites.
3) I also generally use Google Apps for Business for my mail accounts.
4) I use Cloudflare & W3TC plugins.

These are my final issues that I can’t seem to solve, even after reading various threads for hours!:
a) On ALL sites ALL enquiries get’s tagged as Akismet spam enquiry.
b) ONLY on SOME sites does a test email from the plugin go to spam, but TEST emails arrive in my inbox.
c) On SOME sites I do not get a TEST email at all. I have set MX Entry to “Remote Server” instead of default. (This solved issue for a few sites, but not all)

Just have 1 checkbox:
“If featured image not available, use first image found instead?” “Yes/No”

??

That would be epic and make this plugin a complete solution. I like that it is lightweight.

Not keen to have to install another plugin just to make this work. If that’s the case then I’ll just use the text version, but really don’t see people using the pages thumbnail feature.

Anyways…point has been made…it’s your app…your call…and it’s a great plugin BTW! ??

I would prefer a list of ID’s to exclude, since other plugins work on this basis and I have a list of these ID’s to exclude.

I’m tired of my download page, my email confirmation page, and other pages being recommended! I also don’t want to tag them as “hidden” and then it’s the first thing people will click on! (and I have to then exclude the hidden category from search)

There are many large sites that haven’t chosen featured images for the pages and to manually do it would take forever across multiple domains.

Also – even when you do go and place featured images, sometimes you miss one or there’s an error and they don’t show.

What I’m suggesting, makes your plugin thumbnails super useful.

A similar plugin to your “shareaholic recommendations” does just that, but unfortunately, it has social features, and other features that aren’t needed for me.

Basically, it grabs the featured image first, but if not, grabs the first image.

All I’m suggesting is that you have many many users, and more people would use the thumbnail option (which looks better) if it showed an image from the page/post if not featured image was found.
