In reply to: Problem with WordPress Install – database user privilegesOn a side note, you shouldn’t have to do the 5 minute install on fasthost.com. I believe they have a one click WordPress install under their “app” section. I am not familiar enough with fasthost to know for sure where to locate the install, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to find when you log into your account.

In reply to: Problem with WordPress Install – database user privilegesPersonally, with that kind of error and without having access to the database myself, I would contact the host and have them kill the install. Remove the current install on that domain and start fresh with a new database. It does look like it is having issues with user permissions so it wont create the tables. The permission issue could be for several reasons that would be far too complicated to go through and you can go down a really long road banging your head against the wall trying to get it corrected yourself.

In reply to: Problem with WordPress Install – database user privilegesI just went to your new domain and it looks like the install needs to be completed. Is this where you are getting the error? When I go to the https://www.klikaboutique.com domain it gives you the typical install completion steps. Let me know if this is when you receive the error or if it has been corrected. If you still receive the error, I will try to assist as best I can. Cheers

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Previous Event link Jumps to Oldest EventThanks beardedginger,
Sorry about that. I would have added it to the pro forum but it was purchased by my clients and it’s a pain trying to get access to their account. Seems like they never know who created the account or how to get into it once they make the purchase. I’ll chase it down eventually. The perils of Web Development.
Cheers,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Previous Event link Jumps to Oldest EventSorry for the delayed response. I have been out of town for the last week. Yes, my client is using the Pro version and uses a lot of recurring events. I will keep an eye out for an update to correct this issue and let my client(s) know it is a known issue and will be addressed in the future.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Sermon Browser] Not working with WP 4.1.1Extrafino, you wouldn’t happen to have a copy of the file you can place on github or some other service to save me and a lot of other people the pain and anguish replacing and messing with the PHP would you? While I can mess with PHP its not something I relish doing.

In reply to: [Widgetize Navigation Menu] Errors*I’m having the same issue using Canvas theme. I was really hoping to have this work. Would have helped me out a lot with a very specific navigation issue. Looks like I have to do it the hard way.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Simply the best calendar plugin availableThank you Rob. We actually developed our own little plugin for displaying specific events from event categories in a grid on the site. We are still tightening it up but you can see the basic layout on this site.
https://www.allsaintsbh.org/ (bottom of the page)
You can place a shortcode on any page and define what category and how many events to show. If you place a featured image on the event it will show in the grid. If no featured image, it will show the default calendar image.
Example shortcode:
[show-events count=”3″ category=”featured”]We also threw in the same feature for standard posts as well just for fun.
[show-posts count=”1″ category=”general”]Thank you once again for an awesome plugin that is super easy to adjust to our needs and build off of.
